(CBS/AP) CHARLESTON, W. Va. - A female cast member of the MTV reality show "Buckwild" appeared in a West Virginia court Monday after police say they found heroin and oxycodone pills in a house she was in.

Salwa Amin, 24, was arraigned in Nicholas County Magistrate Court on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. She is held at the Central Regional Jail on $200,000 bond.

State police said a multi-agency task force arrested Amin and two others late Sunday at a Suumersville home after receiving a tip from an informant. Officers said they found oxycodone pills and heroin.

"Buckwild" depicts young West Virginians. It has drawn criticism for what some see as a negative portrayal of the state's youth.

It not only makes fun of the culture of this state it really sets a bad example for the teens of any state. I find it hard to believe that produces would want to release something like this to the public. It is,in my opinion, very poor viewing material.; Reply to this comment

"Jersey Shore" wannabes (even a night club named "Karma"?) redrawn as an Appalachian caricature. West VA should be running heavy marketing against this show - just as NJ is not "Jersey Shore."

Sadly this cast too will grab the MTV money and run - except it seems they plan to get arrested first and (maybe) get famous later.

And most of the people in our state hate it as much as everyone else. The kids don't even represent the average West Virginian. They grew up in the richer areas and attended the most well-funded high schools. They're all fools that have already had run-ins with the law before.
