/ Catoosa County Sheriff's OfficeThe Rome News-Tribune reports 25-year-old Jason Earl Dean of Dalton handcuffed himself to the 18-year-old woman in August 2011 in an attempt to convince her to go on a date with him.
According to CBS Atlanta, Dean waited outside for the female co-worker after failing to land a date with her the previous month. The Catoosa News reports that Dean handcuffed himself to her as she was trying to get in her car.
Several Taco Bell co-workers helped out the unnamed woman as Dean fled before police arrived. He was arrested two days later, the station says.

Norton says Dean is also not allowed to have any contact with the victim or her family.
