Abreeya Brown and Ashley Conaway
/ CBS/WWJ(CBS/AP) DETROIT - Two juries on Monday will continue deliberating the fate of four men accused in the abduction, torture and killing of two Detroit-area women who were taken at gunpoint.
The four are on trial in the February deaths of 18-year-old Abreeva Brown and 22-year-old Ashley Conaway, who authorities say were forced into a car trunk outside their Hamtramck home. Their bodies were found buried in a Detroit park a month later. Both had been bound and shot in the head.
Brandon Cain, Brian Lee, Reginald Brown and Jeremy Brown are charged with first-degree murder, torture and unlawful imprisonment.
Co-defendant, Miguel Rodriguez pleaded guilty in October as part of a deal. According to the Detroit Free Press, he is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 14.
One Wayne County jury is deliberating the charges against Cain and Lee. A second jury is deliberating the charges against Reginald Brown and Jeremy Brown.
