"For Sale" signs casualty of realtors' feud

Police say realtor Robert Toth has been stealing "For Sale" signs from the front lawns of area homes - signs belonging to his former boss's real estate agency.
Police say U.S. Asset Realty owner Jihad Shaheer complained in September that his signs had been stolen from more than a half-dozen sites in Bridgeport, as well as from the front of two homes in Stratford.
Police told the Connecticut Post that they later determined Toth was the person taking the signs.
Toth, 54, had worked for Shaheer before opening his own realty company, American Home Realty in Trumbull.
Police say Toth was charged last week with third-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass. Authorities say if convicted, he's facing up to six years in prison.
