1970 Wisconsin Child Murder: Sex offender suspected in slaying of 9-year-old girl

Robert Hill recently finished serving a 10-year sentence for allegedly sexually assaulting four children under the age of 10 between 1995 and 2002.
But police say the 73-year-old confessed to the murder of Donna Willing but has since recanted. And they say he knew details that hadn't been released.
Biological evidence had been destroyed or lost in the 1990s that could help convict Hill, so prosecutors are using the state's sex offender law to keep him in custody indefinitely.
At a Monday hearing, prosecutors will try to prove there's enough evidence for the case to go to a trial, where they have to prove he's a sexually violent person.
He's being held in a supervised facility.
