Video shows man being beaten, robbed in Brooklyn during Hurricane Sandy
(CBS) NEW YORK - Surveillance footage obtained by the website Crown Heights Info and uploaded to YouTube shows a man in Brooklyn being beaten and robbed just as Hurricane Sandy struck Monday evening.
According to the website Gothamist, the man was assaulted by several assailants around 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 as the winds picked up in New York City. Gothamist reports that the assailants stole the victim's wallet and cell phone before leaving him lying face down on the street.
