"Puppy poacher" caught on tape returns Fla. family's pet
CBS Miami
In the South Florida video, the man is seen scooping up a small white dog from the driveway of a home. The family that owns the Maltese pup named "Lebron" says one day later the same man, identified as Tony Williams, brought back the family's pooch.
According to CBS Miami, Williams said his co-workers prompted him to return the dog after seeing the video on the news.
They also said Williams didn't steal the dog. He just took the puppy off the street because he didn't want "Lebron" to get hit by a car.
Believe what you will.
The family gave Williams $100 for the dog's safe return.
