Ga. police search for golf cart driving flasher
CBS Atlanta
(CBS) PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - Peachtree city police are looking for a flasher making the rounds on a golf cart, CBS Atlanta reports.
Police have stepped up patrols after four women reported that they were flashed last week. Officers said the victims were walking or running along a golf cart path when they were flashed by a man, described as in his late teens or early 20s with a thin build and short, wavy, brown hair.
Police reported that in each case, the guy drove past the women, made a U-turn and then drove past them again before flashing them.
Officers are focusing their patrols on a mile-long section of the cart path north of Flat Creek Road.
"It's very serious. We don't want this to escalate into a child being involved or something else like a physical assault," said Peachtree City Police Lt. Mark Brown.
The suspect's golf cart has been described as a burgundy or dark color with cream seats.
Police are encouraging residents to keep a cell phone on them and call 911 immediately to help them catch the flasher.
