A police report detailed the July 17 theft, which was reported Wednesday by the San Jose Mercury News. Authorities believe that McFarlin picked the house at random, and only realized he was in Jobs' house when he saw a letter addressed to Jobs. The home was unoccupied because of construction.
Also taken were iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macs, Cristal Champagne and $60,000 worth of Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Police said McFarlin was arrested earlier this month after he used the stolen devices to connect to the Internet with his own iTunes account, the San Jose Mercury News reported.
