Melvin Morse, Delaware pediatrician, accused of 'waterboarding' his daughter

(CBS/AP) GEORGETOWN, Del. - A Georgetown pediatrician and his wife have been charged with recklessly endangering their two daughters, including the use of a form of discipline that police say the man called "waterboarding."

State police say 58-year-old Melvin Morse and his 40-year-old wife, Pauline Morse, were arrested Tuesday.

Melvin Morse was initially arrested in June after he allegedly assaulted his 11-year-old daughter. According to police, the girl later told authorities that at least four times, he had held her face under a faucet, causing water to go up her nose. Police say Morse referred to the practice as "waterboarding."

Melvin Morse operates a pediatric practice in Milton, and police say state medical regulators have been notified about the arrests.

Police say Melvin Morse remains in custody, while Pauline Morse is out on bail.

I bet he brought a couple of his pediatric patients close to death, just so he could write some books and make a buck. Or better yet, he is one of those people that gets off by bringing another person to the brink. Or he's someone with a serious GOD complex. Take your pick. Either way they are both sickos.

Waterboarding uses plastic wrap around the face so the water doesn't go up the persons nose as they are not trying to drown the person. What this guy did was try to drown his daughters!! Abusers come in all walks of life but you really don't expect a Pediatrician to be a Child Abuser!! Take away his license and children!!!
