Mick Brown, Ted Nugent drummer, charged with drunk driving stolen golf cart

(CBS/AP) BANGOR, Maine - Mick Brown, a drummer for classic rocker Ted Nugent, was arrested Sunday after he was allegedly seen driving drunk in a golf cart stolen from a concert venue, police say.

Officers working at Nugent's Sunday night concert were told that 55-year-old Mick Brown was intoxicated, had stolen the golf cart and was driving it recklessly on a foot path. Police say when officers tried to stop the cart, Brown sped past them and shoved a security officer. Two security officers then removed Brown from the cart, and he was arrested.

According to the Bangor Police Department's Facebook page, police saw two women riding with Brown at one point during the incident.

Brown, of Cave Creek, Ariz., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, theft and assault. He was released on $4,000 bail.

For christ sake he had to come back to the venue at some point to go to his hotel. He was just out having some fun. He probly shouldnt have been drinkin on the thing but he didnt steal the golf cart.; Reply to this comment

The old man says "where u goin with that duct tape?" Kid says "Gonna get some ducks" Old man says "Can't get ducks with that tape" Later kid comes back with a bunch of ducks wrapped up in the tape and the old man scratches his head. Next day the kid comes by with some chicken wire.
Old man says "Where u going with that chicken wire?" Kid says "getting some chickens" Old man says you can't get chickens that way, you got it backward" Later that day the kid comes back with a flock of chickens wrapped in the chicken wire. Old man scratches his head. Next day the kid comes by with a stick. Old man says "where you goin with that stick?" Kid says "This ain't a stick, it's a ***** willow". Old man says "Wait a minute, I'll come with you!" Damn I miss Maine, where the local cop used to follow me home when I was too drunk to walk, so I drove and made sure I got home ok. Made him a cuppa and promised a drink the next time he was off duty. That was in 1966 when I was 16.; Reply to this comment

Maine, what the hell happened to you? What happened to that wizened face on that old lady that said "no matter what happens, I've seen worse"? "You can't get there from here" "Get off my land! What makes it your land? I got it from my father, he got it from his father, and his father fought the Indians for it. OK I'll fight you for it!" Now you have laws against drunk driving in a golf cart? Down East has gone to hell. Even in the third world country where I live we don't have such stupid laws.

Just last week I was passing martinis to my golf cart driver bringing me to the welcoming party at my resort in ****** where I was vacationing away from my own illegal job in my current third world country and guess what? No one crashed!
