(CBS/AP) NEW CASTLE, Pa. - Four western Pennsylvania teens who carried out a drive-by squirt gun attack with chlorinated water are charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Ouch!

The New Castle News reports the incident happened just after midnight early Wednesday.

Police said an adult brother and sister were squirted with chlorinated water and called police, who traced the license plate to one of the suspects.

Four teens in the car reportedly acknowledged they did the deed.

The parents of one of the teen squirters cited will also be charged for allegedly yelling at and insulting officers who were questioning the 'shooters.'

by enlowc June 25, 2012 4:00 PM EDT: A squirt gun "attack" using water. I guess the term "chlorinated" is supposed to make us fraught with peril and distinguish the offending H2O in some way from, say, tap water. As if people can't get more limp wrested than calling the police over being squirted with a water gun, I'm frankly amazed that the police would arrest anyone for such an act. What a farce, what a waste of tax dollars and manpower, apparently there is damned little real crime in New Castle.; Reply to this comment

by twmat311 June 25, 2012 11:44 AM EDT: Agree - during graduation season, our local police brace themselves for abuse from parents when cops bust their little angels' local HS graduation keggers (some with middle-school age "guests."). Forget that every few years, they're alsoo scraping the remains of an upside down car loaded with bodies off backroad pavement. But it's only youthful fun and indiscretion, right?
