(CBS/AP) MILTON, Ga. - A worker handing out food samples at a Georgia Walmart was arrested after police said they watched surveillance footage of her pushing a fellow coworker into a fruit cooler.
The incident, involving two women who worked for a private contractor that supplies samples to customers, happened Saturday afternoon at the Walmart in Milton, north of Atlanta. Dorothy R. Kemp, 63, was charged with simple battery after she pushed Marissa Moody, 56, into a cooler containing fruit, causing injuries.
ABC affiliate WSB-TV aired the surveillance video showing the assault between Kemp and Moody in the produce area of the food aisle. Police said the women disputed over sharing equipment, including who could use a cutting board and a bottle of disinfecting spray.
The surveillance video showed Kemp running after Moody and pushing her straight into the fruit cooler, according to WSB-TV. Moody's feet were up in the air and she couldn't get out of the cooler while Kemp calmly walked back to her work station and began cutting up more fruit. A third worker helped Moody out of the cooler.
Moody told WSB-TV that she's had issues with Kemp since she started working at that location. Milton police took Kemp into custody after watching the video.
