Pizza delivery woman killed by teens, say Ga. cops

Two teens have been arrested in the fatal attack on a Domino's Pizza delivery woman in Cedartown, Ga. on Tuesday, June 7, 2012.

(CBS/AP) Cedartown, Ga. - Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the death of pizza delivery woman Elizabeth Hutcheson, who was stabbed 50 times and bludgeoned as she made a delivery in northwest Georgia.

Hutcheson, a Domino's Pizza worker and mother of one, was reportedly delivering pizza to a house in Cedartown Thursday night when 18-year-old Cadedra Cook and a 15-year-old boy attacked her. The attackers were arrested Friday after a short foot chase.

Cedartown Assistant Police Chief James Newsome said two officers were conducting a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Thursday when they heard screaming. The officers responded and found Hutcheson with multiple stab wounds.

Newsome says Hucheson was taken to Polk Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The suspects were arrested together Friday after a manhunt ended in a local field, the Cedartown Standard newspaper reported.

Records indicate the boy was a troubled teen who left his parents' home to stay with Cook in March 16.

Suspect Cook lived at the house where Hutcheson delivered the pizza. The name of the teenage boy has not been released to the public. Both teenagers are reportedly in custody in Polk County Jail on murder charges.

If it were 2 whites killing a black this **** would already be known across the country... In a case like this where the murder was so beyond brutal, there is no redemption for that, and this is where the death penalty comes in. I, too, noted no mention of race...you rarely see race mentioned when it is a black criminal against a white victim. Shameful. As a black woman, I am sick and tired of the media trying to influence me into hating white people!

by MizzVikki June 13, 2012 11:10 AM EDT: Unfortunately most Pizza places that have delivery don't allow you to carry a gun. I think it was Pizza Hut that fired a delivery person for carrying a gun. Maybe if people refuse to work like that with no protection they may change their attitude.

Just an obversation. I live in Florida and i am from Cedartown, Ga. I just happened to be in Cedartown when this murder took place. I find it interesting that when an Afircan American gets killed by a person that is considered White it is so stated across the media outlets. This case happened to be the reverse. The pizza delivery person was white. The individuals arrested for this were African American. If certain individuals are truly for civil rights where are the Jacksons and Sharptons in this case. The family were having to take up collections Sunday to pay for the funeral. This will not be followed in the media like the recent case in Florida. Just an obversation.

The 15 yr old thug is named Eddie lee Clark. On her Facebook page, Cadedra indicates that they are "married". He refers to himself as Lil Gangster. Where the hell do these people come from????
