2 accused murderers use hacksaw to escape from Ark. jail, say cops

(AP) TEXARKANA, Ark. - Two men who are facing murder charges have escaped from the Miller County Jail.
The Miller County Sheriff's Office says the men were last seen between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Monday. Officials say the men used a hacksaw to cut bars on a window, then jumped from a second-floor window.
They went under a 10-foot-high razor-wire fence to get free.
Deputies are looking for 23-year-old Cortez Rashod Hooper and 36-year-old Quincy Vernard Stewart. Hooper is charged with first-degree murder and Stewart is charged with capital murder.
Both are from the Texarkana area.
The sheriff's office said the men were still missing Monday afternoon.
Shreveport, La., television station KSLA reports both fugitives are black. Hooper is 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds and Stewart is 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs 169 pounds.
