Charlottesville Police Officer K.W. Blackwell testified Thursday in the murder trial of George Huguely V, who is accused in ex-girlfriend Love's May 2010 death. Huguely also played lacrosse at UVA.
During the prosecution questioning, Blackwell said Love was not breathing when he found her and he attempted to revive her.
Huguely's attorneys have said he was very drunk the night Love died and incapable of plotting to kill her. They also have disputed evidence prosecutors say shows Love's head hit a wall several times and that she died of blunt-force trauma.
