Amber Alert for Calif. 11-year-old kidnapped at gunpoint

(CBS/AP) SAN JOSE - An Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-year-old girl who authorities say was abducted from her San Jose home by her mother's ex-boyfriend.

ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports the girl's captor has been identified as 42-year-old Tri Truong Le. Police say Le forced his way into the residence, assaulted a family member, then went into Taylor Vo's bedroom and took her at gunpoint.

Le fled with Taylor in a late model, dark colored minivan, which was described by witnesses as possibly "American made," according to police.

Le is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black jacket and blue jeans, police said.

Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous.

Taylor is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 105 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair with blonde highlights.

Anyone who sees the suspect is urged to call 911. People with information about the case are urged to call the San Jose Police robbery unit at (408) 277-4166.

She was found safe and sound, with 2 black eyes and a huge bruise on her cheek. The predator's truck that he kidnapped her in broke down. He flagged a guy for a ride to a gas station/convenience store. The child went inside stating she was going to call her uncle and called 911 instead and then told the guy when he came in that she wasn't going anywhere until her mama came to get her (brave child!!). The guy took off running and was found nearby at a bus station and arrested.

This pedophile probably groomed both the mother and the little girl: he began a sexual relationship with the mother to gain access to the girl! All pedophiles are sexual tops, but heterosexual pedophiles seem to kill girls more than homosexual pedophiles kill boys. Why? It's probably because it is harder for heterosexual pedophiles to get access to girls without raising red flags, and harder for them to hide girl child abuse compared to boy child abuse.

Just another liberal doing his thing. It's California folks, where if you don't do drugs you're a freak. Will he get arrested? Yes. Will the judge do anything to him? No, he will explain his childhood, how bad it was the judge will cry and let him go. Then the judge and the perp will smoke a bong together. Happy Ending,

I hope this child returns safely to her family...I have a son who just turned twelve and I can't imagine the pain her family is in right now...

shame when two "adults" can resolve their differences without harming children. from the looks of this 11 year old's hair, her mom must not have any rules to speak of. good luck to them all, especially the child.

I have an 11 year old, what a horrible situation. I hope she gets to safety and her mother stop picking loser criminal boyfriends

can't you read? he just kidnapped an 11 yr. old girl. that is a crime, and that makes him a criminal.
