Guadalupe Valdes, 18, one of two people arrested in Sweetwater, Fla. for stealing a neighbor's Christmas display
(Credit: CBS Miami)(CBS/AP) SWEETWATER, Fla. - Authorities say two South Florida women stole some rather unique Christmas decorations from a neighbor's yard about a block away, and put them in their own yard.
Yes, they got arrested.
CBS Miami reports that according to Sweetwater police, Guadalup Valdes, 18, and Yamil Sarabia, 32, were both arrested.
Authorities were looking for a third person in on the theft.
Police say $500 of decorations were taken, including Mickey Mouse on a horse, hugging penguins, Snoopy on a doghouse and Santa on a sled.
(Mickey Mouse on a horse? Who wouldn't want that?)
Miami television station WSVN reports surveillance cameras caught the two women taking the decorative display from the neighbor's lawn.
Valdes is charged with grand theft in the third degree.
