(CBS) DENVER, Colo. - After starting a petition online to get rid of the show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," a Denver-area woman says she's getting death threats as well as signatures.

CBS Denver reports that 41-year-old Cyndy Snider started the "No More Kardashian" petition in early November and within 2 weeks it has received thousands of signatures. Along with those names, however, she claims there's a frightening backlash.

"I've had death threats. That's been my latest, in the past 2 days I've had death threats ... over the Kardashians, and I'm a Kim hater," she said.

Though Snider admits to only watching three episodes of the show, she feels like she can't escape news about those ladies. The petition on GoPetition.com is meant for producers and writers at the E! Network, saying she doesn't think the material on the show is appropriate.

"It's not per se the Kardashians themselves, it's the show itself. It's the value of the show and what it portrays," Snider told CBS Denver.

The kardashians are so last week, if indeed they ever were 'in'. A family of barge-arsed girls hanging on the coat tails on one who had an amateur sex tape - what IS it about? I can't wait for the day when magazines have people with talent on the front cover and something more interesting than a bunch of chubby girls and their diets and poor choices in men. Where's the petition.....

I talk sh*t about Kim and her big, fat ass all the time - I don't get any threats. Makes me wonder if this is even real.

Gee, if people in Colorado spent as much time trying to fix their f*d up domestic violence laws as they do trying to get this damn show off the air, maybe people wouldn't be getting away with murder down there.

The only way to fight this stupid show is not to watch. Don't spend any of your money on anything related to the show. Money is always the reason for any of the BS in this society.

As much as I think the K's are a waste of good oxygen, I defend their right to have a TV show. If no one watched, it wouldn't be on. You can't use a petition to control the media.

Could it be someone from E or the Kardashian clan doing this?

Dear Petitioners of the Kardashians,

Pop quiz time:

Question: What do you do when you don't like what you see on TV?

Answer: YOU TURN OFF THE $#@&%! TV!

READ A BOOK OR SOMETHING! STOP BEING PART OF THE PROBLEM AND START FINDING THE SOLUTION! ARE YOU ALL A BUNCH OF IDIOTS OR TERRY RAKOLTA DISCIPLES!?

That's one choice. Another is to start a petition to get the hell off the air! It's called freedoms, we must exercise them. If everyone thought like you then nobody would even vote.
You silly Kardashian fan. Get a life.

I agree with you AdamM83. There is always someone trying to control the masses-they get a name for themselves and feel powerful with that control-especially if it works.

Beautiful Kardasian girls, yet annoying. I think Kimmy is the most annoying of all of-except for brother Rob. I feel bad for him. Can you imagine growing up with those narcissistic sisters?
