Al Sharpton Almost Speechless; Daughter and Ex-Wife Arrested

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Apparently there is one topic the Reverend Al Sharpton will not comment on - his ex-wife and daughter's arrests.
Lawyer Michael Hardy said Sharpton's ex, Kathy Jordan, 53, and daughter, Dominique Sharpton, 23, were arrested Friday in Manhattan after getting into a dispute with police over a traffic violation.
"I met with them and the attorney after the rally yesterday and was told to stay out of it," Sharpton wrote on Twitter Sunday. "Dominique is grown and certainly can handle herself."

Six minutes later, he seemingly couldn't resist commenting when he tweeted, "How two unarmed women with no record, could be taken in cuffs from a traffic dispute with NO personal or property damage involved. No drugs."
Hardy said the women were arrested when a dispute erupted after police pulled over the car Dominique was driving for allegedly running a red light.
The women were taken to a nearby precinct and later released. They were given desk appearance tickets for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of governmental administration.
Hardy called the arrests "highly questionable and unusual."
Sharpton, speaking through spokeswoman Rachel Noerdlinger, said police possibly overreacted. He said he would let lawyers and police sort it out.
