BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS/AP) - How desperate was Susan Finkelstein to have World Series tickets?

VERY desperate, investigators say. So desperate, in fact, they say the 43-year-old suburban Philadelphia woman posted an ad on the Web site Craigslist in which she described herself as a "gorgeous, tall, buxom blonde diehard Phillies fan" desperately seeking Series tickets, according to CBS station KYW-TV in Philadelphia.

Her ad, according to police, suggested she'd offer something extra. "I'm the creative type! Maybe we can help each other!"

The price was apparently negotiable.

What sealed the deal was when an undercover officer responded to the digital ad, and Finkelstein allegedly offered to perform various sex acts in exchange for the coveted tickets. Police did not say precisely what this Phillies fanatic was willing to do to see her beloved team play the Yankees.

No, Finkelstein didn't get the tickets. Instead, she was arrested and charged with prostitution, and got her face plastered across television -- and on Crimesider.

If you happen to have extra tickets we suggest you look elsewhere. Finkelstein's listed phone number has been disconnected.

Hope she's out in time to watch the game.

Still, Finkelstein's plight brings up an interesting point. What would you be willing to do to see your favorite team in the World Series?

it's quite obvious this so-called undercover cop is on a power-trip as most officers. I guess they're not too busy in Bensalem these days. I would like to investigate the skeletons in his closet. I can bet my life on it that he has paid for sex at least once in his lifetime. What a jerk. So what if she wanted to offer her services for WS tickets. That's her business!

This is a waste of time and money for police to get involved. If someone is hard up enough to want to have sex with this 40 year old woman and give up his tickets, then let him. His choice and hers as well.

I bet Susan is worth the tickets. How about if Philly is in next year's World Series?

While I think baseball is a joke, no longer for the fans and unaffordable to most families, I really don't care much about this woman's ploy. If two consenting adults want to do the wild thing and she gets a pair of tickets in return, who am I to care? If they met in a bar and made this transaction, we'd never hear about it. She advertised and now she's been arrested. People have been negotiating for this type of activity as long as Earth has existed and an open space next to the fire in the cave existed. Women prostitute themselves every night in clubs and bars all over for a ride and a warm bed. Prudish America needs to get over itself.

If prostitution was legal and not hidden, there would be far less abuse and rape/death etc. I am a Christian woman, a parent of girls, so please.

Swing batta-batta-batta swing! We want a pitcher, not a belly itcher. Somebody is rounding third base for a homerun. That story is dumber than the balloon boy. "The police acted stupidly in this situation". Now lets all get drunk and watch the series. I hope old stupid white rich men loose their power over this country before the world ends. That woman was providing a service for a product. I guess I'm a ***** too. Go Phillies!

If a woman wants to offer sex for World Series tickets, why should it matter to US? If it bothers her husband, so be it. It's their business, not ours.

She says it has been hardest on her husband, a 56-year-old director at a higher education tutoring firm, who is "angry" and "bewildered."

Gee, I wonder why?

Just because the whole country knows his wife peddles that tang?

What a shocker that is!

Imagine:

She gets the tix w/o problems and they go to the game.

One guy sitting next to them says to the next guy "Hey Rog, where are Danny and Sully? These two are in their seats."

To which Rog replies loud enough for hubby to hear "I forgot to tell you - Sully told me they traded their tix to some blonde broad for a hummer".............

why do we care..this administration supports sexual immorality..so what difference does it make? I think polygamy should become legal while we are at it.

And of course you have a credible source for your "support" claim, I'm sure.

Please put it up.

Perhaps she can apply as a campaign aide for John Ensign, R-NV, GOP. Here he likes to do business this way.
