Balloon Boy Family's Homophobic Rant in YouTube Rap Video

(YouTube)
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS/AP) Richard Heene and his family have never run from the spotlight as they made a name for themselves chasing down storms, starring in a reality TV show and experimenting with a series of unusual inventions. But they've also hit the viral video circuit, shooting amateur music videos for the family's YouTube page "YouTubianAwards."
One such video shows "balloon boy" Falcon Heene and his two brothers performing rude rap lyrics that might prompt some viewers to call child protective services.
A video named "Not Pussified," starring Heene's three boys, shows the brothers shooting off rockets, while spewing curses and lyrics that refer to attacking homosexuals with rocks.
"I look up in the tree. What do I see? I see a fa**ot trying to pee on me," the children rap on the video. "I pick up a rock. Threw it at his c**k."
The Heenes' YouTube videos may provide a further glimpse into the family behind the chaos of last week, when a helium-filled balloon floated away from Richard Heene's home with his 6-year-old son, Falcon, thought to be inside.
In the end, investigators said it was all a hoax designed to drum up attention for his next reality TV endeavor on the heels of the family's "Wife Swap" appearances.
Heene now faces the prospect of criminal charges that could send him to prison for several years.
The case has shined the spotlight on the bizarre antics of Heene, a 48-year-old amateur scientist, handyman and aspiring reality TV star whose associates described him as a shameless self-promoter who would do almost anything to advance his latest endeavor.
