Jaycee Dugard Stunning First Photos in People Magazine

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) People Magazine has released the first photos of Jaycee Lee Dugard as an adult and the young lady who was held captive for 18 years appears happy, fit, and healthy.

Her image today is a stunning contradiction to the horrors that Jaycee suffered, allegedly at the hands of Phillip and Nancy Garrido, who are accused of kidnapping her when she was 11 years old, brainwashing her and holding her captive in a series of tents and sheds in their Antioch, Calif., home for nearly two decades.

Phillip Garrido is also accused of repeatedly raping Jaycee, and forcing her to father two children, now ages 11 and 15.

According to Jaycee's interview in People Magazine, the 29-year-old is happy to be home and grateful to be spending time with her real family again.

The Garridos have pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and rape in Dugard's 18-year disappearance. People magazine plans to publish the photos on their Web site Wednesday October 14, at 7:30 am.
