Phillip Garrido is Worried About Jaycee Dugard

The man charged with kidnapping Jaycee Dugard 18 years ago, then raping and hiding her in his backyard, has contacted a Sacramento television station to voice concerns about Dugard's legal rights.

Really.

In a letter addressed to a KCRA anchorman and dated Sept. 29, Garrido wrote that Dugard "has been repeatedly denied access to have an attorney present during questioning," the station reported Wednesday.

"Over and over she clearly expressed this request from the beginning to the conclusion of questioning," Garrido wrote. "Her civil rights have been clearly violated."

A spokesman for the El Dorado County jail, where Garrido is being held, said the letter appears authentic.
It may be authentic, but it's not terribly convincing.
Dugard's stepfather, Carl Probyn, told KCRA that the letter "sounds stupid."

"He violated her rights. We've got her back," Probyn said

An El Dorado County prosecutor said Garrido has been following coverage of the case from jail, where he has access to a television and newspapers.

A spokesman for the Sheriff's Department, which has been speaking with Dugard since she resurfaced, did not immediately respond to a telephone call seeking comment.

McGregor Scott, a former U.S. chief prosecutor who was retained to represent Dugard last week, would not comment on Garrido's statement.

The anchorman, Walt Gray, tried to visit Garrido in jail for a follow-up interview, but Garrido refused to see him without his defense lawyer present.

The lawyer, public defender Susan Gellman, said she had counseled her client not to speak with the news media and that she would strongly reiterate that advice.

Let me say now...I am not a religious person but do believe in God, a master plan and that God has given us free will to choose our path. What does that mean? We all have a CHOICE! This young woman did not have a choice. DaVicar 08...you are one sick puppy. I've posted on here about this, have seen so much sickness and insanity in this world of late and like I said before...let the MoFo out. Let all of us know where and when. I am happy to hold a weapon along with every other mom out there and let him have one right between the eyes. Why are my tax dollars gonna pay for him to eat, sleep, medical care (and lots of therapy, I'm sure)..oh...and we will pay for him to have that hideous growth on his face removed. I have an idea...let's get a bunch of rats and let them eat that off his face. The one common denominator I see with all of these freaks is their profession of religion and that they spread the word of God.. Elizabeth Smart ring a bell? A family yes but a twisted one. Does no one else see this.
1. Phillip likes little girls
2. Nancy likes to help Phillip.
3. Phillip steals a little girl with Nancy's help. Rapes her, Jaycee, and has a baby. She was 14 when she had Starlet so was probably preggies at 13.
ok If he was rehabilitated after Starlet was born there never would have been an Angel.
4. Phillip continues to rape Jaycee. Jaycee pregnant again at 17 has second little girl at 18. First little girl is now 3. If anyone knows about children, a three year old no longer looks like a baby, they look like "little girls" they act like "little girls."
5. Phillip kicks Jaycee to the curb. She stated he has not had sex with her in years. Of course not. After second child she no longer looks like a little girl. However, he never throws anything away - look at all the junk he keeps - and Jaycee is useful in running his business. So Jaycee becomes like Nancy - a walking piece of furniture. However, Nancy could have always left, Jaycee has no hope for that and by now no desire. She cannot leave her babies, where would she go. This is now the only world she knows.
6. Phillip now sleeping (without sex apparently) with a little girl.
7. Second little girl no longer a baby and joins in Phillp's bed.
8. Phillip is in seventh heaven for a pedophile. He is now sleeping with TWO LITTLE GIRLS. He may not be having sex with them but you can be sure he is carressing them and most likely touching them in inappropriate ways. But they would not know any difference since they were brought up that way.
9. New story Jaycee seen riding in van 10 months after kidnapping. Now Phillip rides around with his two new trophies which he can show off because they are off the grid. They are not kidnapped. He can brag and be proud about - Look at my two Little Girls.
He has not changed. He is still into little girls. He is still a sicko.
He has no real love for them or for Jaycee. That was not a real family. He just never throws stuff away.

Obviously he wants her to testify about the love in his so called "family unit". I am not buying it, she's with her family now, and Garrido needs to leave her alone.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the sex offender's in Georgia, they have no where to live, the community dont want them liveing in they're area, so they have set up tents in the woods.........lol, I look at it this way......She lived in a tent for 18 years, now it is they're turn.......sence all this has happened, I have not seen the sex offender that lives at the end of my street. I think it is wonderful, hopefully he is living in a tent. He is 47 now and was convicted two year's ago for raping a 12 year old. and I have feared of the little children that live on our street, that catch the bus on the same corner, I have told the parents about the sex offender that has been living there..........They had no clue! I believe that some of the first words out of Jaycee's mouth, when given the opportunity, was "I am Jaycee Lee Dugard". Does this moron somehow believe that he still has some perverse hold on her?? She has full legal representation now by Mr. Scott, who is an Angel in his own right, and I have no doubt that with his guidance this child rapist will be put away for life. With any luck, Garrido's fate will be the same as that of Mr.Cooey, Jessica Lundfords' murderer who died yesterday in a Florida prison while awaiting lethal injection.
