Report: Jaycee Dugard Says Daughters Were Not Molested

ANTIOCH, Calif. (CBS) Jaycee Dugard says her alleged captor and rapist, Phillip Garrido, did not touch her two daughters, according to a report in the San Francisco Chronicle.
"She's saying he didn't touch her kids," one law enforcement source told the Chronicle.

Police say Garrido fathered two children with Dugard, ages 11 and 15.
Dugard has also told authorities that Phillip Garrido "hadn't touched her in years," according to the paper.
Whether or not Garrido had molested Dugards young girls in the same fashion he is accused of molesting Dugard, has remained a disturbing question. Dugard was only 11 when she was abducted, the same age as her youngest daughter now. And she was first impregnated when she was 14, only a year older than her oldest daughter.
Cheyvonne Molino, a business associate of Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy, said that she knew Garrido and the girls well. "I met his daughters, I watched them grow up," she told CBS' "The Early Show" last month.
Molino said the young girls always appeared and behaved like normal kids and that Garrido once left them unattended at her daughter's birthday party. "He dropped them off. He picked them up," she said.
The girls did not attempt to flee. And despite earlier reports, Molino said that in her presence the girls never acted robotically and didn't wear prarie dresses.
Meanwhile, the property where Dugard was held captive for 18 years became the site of an archaeological-style dig Friday as authorities revealed the discovery of another bone and a soil "anomaly" that could indicate something lies buried in an area where cadaver dogs earlier picked up a scent.
Police from the cities of Dublin and Hayward have been searching the land to see if Phillip and Nancy Garrido can be tied to two other Northern California child abductions from the late 1980s. The couple has been charged with 29 counts including rape in Dugard's 1991 abduction from a South Lake Tahoe bus stop.
