Garridos Used Stun Gun on Jaycee Lee Dugard, Says Report

NEW YORK (CBS) Phillip and Nancy Garrido used a stun gun on 11-year-old Jaycee Lee Dugard when they allegedly kidnapped her in 1991, according to a bail motion in the case.

When Dugard accompanied the Garridos to a San Francisco Bay area police station on Aug. 26, 2009, she "reported having been sexually assaulted on multiple occasions," Deputy El Dorado County District Attorney Trish Killiher said in a motion supporting the Garridos' no bail status Monday.

"It was also learned that a stun gun was used to subdue the victim at the time of the kidnap," Killiher wrote.

Dugard told detectives she had been kidnapped by the Garridos and kept at their Antioch, Calif. property, where authorities later discovered an intricate series of tents and sheds where they say the Garridos held Dugard.

When police discovered Dugard, she had two daughters with her; daughters they believe Phillip Garrido fathered.

The Garridos allegedly abducted Dugard from her bus stop in broad daylight. Her stepfather, Carl Probyn, saw the gray sedan slow down next to Dugard and a woman reach out of the passenger's seat and pull Dugard in. Dugard screamed, and was not seen again for 18 years.

These two creatures gave up their right to be called human beings the moment they grabbed that innocent little girl. Anyone who thinks the Garridos don't deserve the most severe punishment - including rape and torture - are still thinking of them as human, which they clearly are not. Their lives have less worth than that of a worm. If ever there was an argument for bringing back cruel and unusual forms of punishment, this is it.; Reply to this comment
