NEW YORK (CBS) "Jaycee Dugard please step forward," pleaded Cheyvonne Molino, one of Phillip Garrido's business associates who says in recent years kidnap victim Jaycee Lee Dugard and her daughters lived in their accused kidnappers' home, not in tents and sheds in the backyard as authorities have claimed.

Molino also wants Jaycee to clear her good name now that authorities have raided three of her properties, she says, in search of child pornography.

Molino told CBS affiliate KPIX San Francisco that she had been in the Garrido home and backyard and saw nothing suspicious, and that from what she could tell, the girls and Dugard slept in the house.

"They told you guys that that woman and her daughters were held captive til the day he released them. That was not true. And I was the only person that had visual proof that they had been out of that," Molino told KPIX.

Molina also called out Jaycee to tell what she felt was the truth.

"Tell the media, tell the government exactly what happened to you," Molino told reporters as part of an open message to Dugard, who was kidnapped at age 11 in 1991 in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Dugard and her two daughters, 11 and 15, allegedly sired by Garrido, are currently sequestered with family members who she has not seen for the past 18 years.

Molino told the Early Show's Julie Chen in an interview that she knew Garrido well. "I met his daughters, I watched them grow up."

Garrido reportedly took one or both of the young girls with him as he toured clients of his printing business, either to discuss work or to hand out religious literature.

"We got to see them more and more over the summertime, three or four times a week," Molino told "Early Show" co-anchor Julie Chen. "They were very nice and polite. They'd come out and deliver water on 102 degree weather days with their dad, stay about 10, 15 minutes, and go to the next location."

On Wednesday, authorities raided three properties owned by Molino and her husband, Jim. Molino says they took DVDs, VHS tapes, and a laptop in search of child pornography connected to Garrido's case. Authorities did not say what they were looking for.

Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee told CBS affiliate KPIX San Francisco that Jim Molino was on probation weapons violation so deputies could search his three properties without a warrant.

Authorities searched the Molinos' business, JM Auto Wreckers in Pittsburg, Calif.; as well as two homes where the couple resided in Pleasant Hill and Bay Point, Calif.

Someone send this fat piece of crap packing...is she SERIOUS???
After what Jaycee and her daughters went through, she doesn't owe
anything to anyone. Send this woman back to wherever she came
from, which is most likely a cesspool....

Both Garridos, as well as his mother, should be executed. THEY ARE NOT REHABILITATABLE! Horrible people get away with stuff like this because of people like Ms. Molino. Molino is obviously a criminal, and married to one, and is business partners with a known rapist/pedifile, so she should be executed also. (before they cause MORE destruction.)

Stockholm Syndrome (part 2 of 2)

Jaycee's own perosnality has helped her to survive. It is that personality that caused Philip Garrido to start showing compassion.

This is not the Stockholm Syndrome. This is the Reverse Stockholm Syndrome, where the abductor has started showing sympathy for the person he abducted.

If there is any name to be associated to this, perhaps it should be that what's been happening should be called the Jaycee Syndrome. It's the syndrome when the abductor starts having feelings of sympathy for his victim.

And as far as I am concerned, it is only a pointer towards the powerful character of Jaycee's personality.

She would not have survived her ordeal, but for her personality. She deserves nothing but the utmost praise for the way she has handled whatever happpened to her.

My only fear is that people will fail to realise how profound the events were that interfered with her normal life, and that they start thinking she could have ended it all a long time ago.

She couldn't have done so, as she was made completely depemdent upon Philip amd Nancy Garrido.

I fear that in due time people start to criticise Jaycee for not taking the opportunities to escape when these presented themselves to her.

If America starts to go that way, they will only add to Jayvee's suffering. I hope the US will give Jaycee better support than the Austrians did to Natascha Kampusch.

Stockholm Syndrome (part 1 of 2)

Hi,

Much has been made about the fact that Jaycee Dugard has suffered from the Stockholm Syndrome (developing sympathy for the abductor).

I disagree. The Stockholm Syndrome does not provide an appropriate explanation for what happened to Jaycee.

She was kidnapped when she had just turned 11. Now, I myself remember virtually nothing about what happened before my 11th birthday (just odd scraps about being at primary school). I think the same applies to Jaycee. She will have memories of growing up with her family. She will vividly remember that she was bundled in a car when she was very young (she probably won't even remember that she was 11 at that time). She will hardly have any memories of what happened to her prior to her abduction.

She was sexually abused throughout all of her time as a teenager - and this abuse stopped(!) around the time she gave birth to her second daughter. I think it may be true that around that time Philip Garrido started to have some ethical reservations about what he had done to Jaycee. Apparently, Jaycee has just acknowledged she wasn't sexually approached for years, and that her daughters weren't sexually abused either.

The only reason why this could have taken place is because of Jaycee's own personality. She has (from all accounts) always been a most pleasant personality, but also one who would accept whatever befell her. It may well be that her personality has helped her to survive.

I agree that she was sexually abused during her time as a teenager however I disagree that Phil started to have ethical reservations about what he had done. Fact is she no longer did it for him. She had a young woman's body, complete with a layer of fat (comes with having kids) and other signs of having given birth. Simply put he was not sexually attracted to her. However, also about this time there was a 3 to 4 year old girl now in the picture. Phil said himself he slept (without sex) with his girls. So Jaycee is out of the bed and in comes the daughter. Sick isn't it. Even if he did not tough her inappropriately he still had the feel of a little girl in his arms.
How can you tell is Cheyvonne is lying - someone is quoting her. Her story changes depending on which reporter she is talking too. so cheyvonne, did you see preggy Jaycee and think nothing of it. You said you saw the girls grow up.. . . and yet did nothing.

Phillip Garrido AND his wife kidnapped poor Jaycee at 11 years of age. She was forced to have 2 children by him, all alone, no medical help, in that house or those sheds/tents, the first at age 14. And so this Phillip Garrido and Ms Molino want us to believe Jaycee was "guilty" of something? What?? Surviving?? Jaycee did what was best for Jaycee, she was only 11, just a child, yet she was smart enuf to learn what to do to survive. And that's about it. So she wasn't tied up 24 hrs a day. So?? I will bet in the beginning she was locked up in that soundproof shed, continually raped (he liked to rape children - don't call it having sex, call it what it was -- rape), and she eventually figured out what to do to survive. She was both physically and psychologically abused. When in that type of situation, "survival mode" takes over. For those unbelievers, who think she could have just "walked away or escaped" - well, after a while, one learns to just behave, not cause waves. She bided her time, and it took 18 long years, but now she is safe. But she will not be normal, and yes, right now she has feelings for her captors. Not unusual at all! Many of us have been "emotionally and physically abused" too and so we know just how it is. Survival! One does whatever it takes to survive! My prayers to Jaycee, her children, and her family. She may never be normal as we know it again, but her children have a chance, and Jaycee will thrive and survive! Thank God! And for those who still don't believe - just remember, Elizabeth Smart was held less than a year, yet lied when the police found her and at first wouldn't admit who she was. And also Patty Hearst. She took up her captor's cause. Survival! And hopefully Jaycee will very quickly get her pets back - the 2 dogs, 5 cats, the birds & the mouse. Her survival mode. Then her recovery can continue to progress. Hey out there, counselors - do what you can to get those pets back to her! Pronto! Those are her life-line.

Molino seems to be part of the same religious cult as Garrido and perhaps a number of the ones making stupid comments here. The believer is convinced that God is helping them make these half wit statements so, they must be the absolute truth.

It is obvious that most of the information that, the defenders of this repulsive crime use, is based on thier church teachings and brushes with the law.

I hope the media has been duped with mostly false information from these parasites and will learn a lesson not to offer cash and hunt out stories on victims.
CBS you have started another form of abuse towards Jayceee by harassing and denying her Family to their right for privacy.

Jaycee and Family need time to begin a new healthy life and they deserve all of our respect for surviving such horrific unhealthy living conditions.

When the Pedophiles were arrested they admitted to kidnapping and brutalizing Jaycee and keeping her captive.
Why do they now get to change the plea to Not Guilty?
Why are these monsters permitted to force a court room drama that will cause further anguish to Jaycee and Family.

I guess Molino enjoys living in filth just like the monsters P&N.

I challenge Evil Molino to go and visit her pedophile friend and yell at him to tell the truth and change his plea to GUILTY?
