NEW YORK (CBS/AP) The investigation into Phillip Garrido, the man accused of the kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard in 1991, has taken a new turn as investigators raided three Contra Costa County properties belonging to Jim and Cheyvonne Molino, who associated with Garrido and his wife Nancy.

Contra County sheriff investigators would not comment on Cheyvonne Molino's claim that they were looking for child pornography in the DVDs, VHS tapes, and laptop they confiscated.

The Molinos conducted business with Garrido, who owned and operated a printing business. According to neighbors, Dugard did graphic design for her alleged kidnapper's company.

Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee told CBS affiliate KPIX San Francisco that Jim Molino was on probation weapons violation so deputies could search his three properties without a warrant.

Authorities searched the Molinos' business, JM Auto Wreckers in Pittsburg, Calif.; as well as two homes where the couple resided in Pleasant Hill and Bay Point, Calif.

The Molinos have been a part of numerous media interviews since Garrido's arrest. Cheyvonne said she saw Garrido, Jaycee Dugard, and her two daughters dozens of times over a ten year period, including most recently at a birthday party the Molinos had for their teenage daughter.

Phillip and Nancy Garrido are being held without bail in El Dorado County. The couple is charged with 29 felony counts related to the 1991 abduction and subsequent captivity of Jaycee Lee Dugard, as well as sexual assault charges. They are scheduled to appear Monday, Sept. 14 for a bail hearing.

I understand why people are shocked at these comments; the media has done a really good job painting a horrible picture. What is not being discussed more often is that Mr. Garrido took these girls out... This woman is not the only one introduced to the girls... What is also missing is that these girls, as far as we know, did not share the fate of their mother...
What this man did was horrible, and his crime should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Too bad he wasn't looked upon with the same level of suspension directed toward this woman... If he had, Jaycee would have been home a long time ago.

These are some pretty ignorant comments. All this lady has said is that her first hand, eyewitness accounts do not jibe with the theory that this case is something out of "Silence of The Lambs;" as the police and media are trying to portray it. Until Jaycee and her daughters come out and give personal accounts as to their living conditions, nobody should be throwing out hypothetical theories about the way things were. Your logic here is as stupid as those who say, "If you don't support the war in Iraq thath means you don't support the troops!" What does one have to do with the other? Just because she says the girls weren't living in horrible conditions doesn't mean she supports the Garridos. Stop being so stupid.

What would possess anyone to say anything contra to the FACT that is
poor girl is a Victim and robbed of a normal childhood. For that matter, shame on the Press, for letting this story even air. Hasn't Jaycee and her family suffered enough. Now they have to hear this crap. This thing, Garrido, is a nothing more than a drug addicted rapist, possible murderer, coward trying to put a perverted spiritual spin on the whole thing. And blaspheme God in the process. He's no better than Charles Manson. Molino needs to get her head examined. What would her story be if it were one of her children, that he rapped an impregnated? Would she thank him for letting her child go inside his home for a period of time
verse the back yard? She's missing the true picture here not to mention, 18 years were stolen from her and her family.
It's really important that people not jump to judgments or conclusions in this case; no one knows what she went though. Not to mention, she was brainwashed. That does not take into account the ACTUAL situation that Jaycee was in. She was a child of 11 rapped and forced to mother a child as a child at the age of 14. She was robbed of her virtue, she will never be able to get that back. How can anyone say anything other than give support and positive reinforcement that she did nothing wrong and did what she had to do to stay alive? The only thing I can say at this point regarding Molino is, she was deceived and manipulated maybe even brainwashed by Phillip and Nancy Garrido, herself.

Just another opportunist. The world is filled with them. Wen things don't work as planned, they yell "foul". But nothing could be as fouls as their intent and desire to get publicity. Ultimately, they will get what they deserve. Leave the young woman alone and let her be with her family and knock off with the self serving whining. As I understand, Ms. Molino and her spouse want Jaycee to come to their aid as they are "victims". Problem is, they want to make this young woman a victim again. Self centered hypocrisy. I hope they don't come near Jaycee and kids.

As time passes, more details will surface as to what all went on in this home. I read in one article that neighbors often heard wild parties in the backyard with males voices. They saw men going into tents. This case will overwhelm any prominent case on the news.

I agree with clouburns. I don't want to believe all of the stories being leaked. My mind questioned Molino when she started speaking, thinking the worst, but until someone knows for sure why give in to all of the horrible thoughts. Jaycee needs positive thoughts and prayers sent her way. These leaks are ridiculous anyway. Cops, former cops, etc. Have they no shame. She is being victimized again. The media needs to give this story up until some sort of a case is made and the authorities are ready to officially reveal information. She is a prisoner in a different way now, and people need to show some sort of compassion towards what she has been through and quit speculating and give her some peace.

This email will take you to Jaycee's trust fund. She needs help, as do her daughters. They need doctors and guards, housing and all the basics. And I'm sure they're finally getting nice things, pretty things, and things they choose.

Ms. Molino's comments have caused me to cringe, repeatedly. I can see why law enforcement is taking a look at her.

At the same time, I hope that Jaycee wasn't subjected to pain from any more people than those kidnappers. For that reason, I will pray Ms. Molino is free of culpability here.

some of your statements hints me: you are supporting grido, totally ignorant upon what jaycee endured in the first years.

why do you think that? they are anything but decent! you just lost it! didn't you?

jaycee is tenacious, dare to live with these 3 monsters for so many years, being totally isolated, by being with kind of neighbors like you. she deserves everything these 3 monsters own including their life.

such an embarrassment.shame on you!
