"The smile on my sister's face is as wide as the sea," she said, describing Jaycee's mother Terry Probyn's reaction to being reunited with her daughter after 18 years.

Tina Dugard described Jaycee's two daughters, who were allegedly fathered by her accused captor Phillip Garrido, as "clever, articulate, curious girls."

She said Jaycee did a truly amazing job with the limited resources and education at her disposal.

Police say Jaycee and her daughters were imprisoned in a series of sheds and tents in the backyard of Phillip and Nancy Garrido and were not given access to schools or medical care.

Tina Dugard thanked everyone for their prayers and best wishes and thanked law enforcement for rescuing Jaycee and her daughters.

The Garridos are facing 29 charges including kidnapping and rape over their alleged abduction and imprisonment of Jaycee, who was 11 years old when she was kidnapped from a South Lake Tahoe street in 1991.

jaycee, you just wait to see how that 3 monsters(including his monstrous phony vicious mother) will die, i just don't believe they will have a better future. no matter how his community support him, no matter how Oprah/marker appreciate these monsters. no matter how america foundation talking is far from your case.

i just wish you can have a good achievement in printing business or computer, let some of Tahoe people know how their judgment is wrong.

Let your teacher who don't reason before conclusion, know how she is just a undereducated old woman.

be happy everyday is all you need. that"s what i want to say. at this point, don't let us down.

Nah. They should both be "accidentally" placed among the general prison population.

What a happy ending for them all. I wish them only the best!
I just hope Jaycee and her girls don't mourn the kidnapper.
He and his wife do not deserve their love and concern.

That is so amazing. I've kept up with this story since the beginning and I send you all my prayers and hope for Jaycee and her family. It makes me sad as well that she could have been rescued years ago but police officers and detectives are not as prompt as they should be. I hope this man and woman get life in prison and I also hope that the people in prison do awful things to them. Things that shouldn't be done to any human being. May God be with Jaycee and her girls. YOU DID NOTHING WRONG, Jaycee. We love you.
