Caught on Tape: Outrageous Woman Steals 20-lb Case of Beer Under Dress

ZACHARY, La. (CBS/AP) Most people would be walking awfully funny after a case of beer. But a woman in Louisiana isn't charged with drinking the beer, she's accused of stealing the 24-can box between her legs and it's all caught on tape.
Police in Zachary say security video shows Lisa Newsome, 42, pulling up her housedress, putting a case between her thighs, pulling her dress back down,
and waddling out of a store.
The case of brew weighed 20 pounds!
Capt. David McDavid says that while it took a while to identify and find the woman, when Newsome was finally busted this week she didn't deny anything.
The 42-year-old even offered to demonstrate how she did the beer waddle. But McDavid says he replied, no thanks, he's "not into that."
Newsome was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a theft charge.
Casey Rayborn Hicks, spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, said she did not know whether Newsome had an attorney, and that she remained in jail Tuesday in lieu of $1,000 bond.
