POST FALLS, Idaho (CBS/AP) A 28-year-old Post Falls woman faces charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007.

Summer Nelson was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child.

Court records say Nelson was the boy's babysitter and friend of the mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy's mother grew suspicious of Nelson's attention towards her oldest son.

Investigators say Nelson told the boy's siblings that she was in love with their brother and asked the boy's mother for her blessing, according to KXLY.

Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters.

Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known if she had a lawyer.

If convicted, Nelson could face up to life in prison.

If she is so much sexy than why should she not get married. But she make the boy sexually active, she should be punished for life time imprisonment. http://www.meridia-diet-pill.com

Ok, shes hot and maybe it did him no harm. If only I had a babysitter like that.
But being 14 is hard enough without being preyed upon sexually by adults. The laws are designed to protect kids from their own stupidity long enough for them to develop some common sense. Adults are expected to know better. No doubt she should be punished.

Amazing how many right wing nuts will defend a female pedophile but not a male pedophile.

If this boy had been having consensual sex with a 28 year old man, HOOO BOY they'd be up in arms, pitchforks, machine guns and confederate flags.

Total and complete, 100% hypocrites. That's the neocons for ya.

I am sure I'm in the minority here but so what. If he was 18 and she was 32 he probably still would have done it. The first time I had s*e*x I was 14 and she was 23. That was 30 years ago. I wasn't traumatized. I don't go around molesting underage kids or torturing puppies becuase of it. I am sure he knew exactly what he was doing.

In this country age is totally arbitrary when it comes to crimes and other things. At 18 you are considered an adult but you still can't drink. You can go to war and die but not have a beer. At 14 you are considered underage because you "don't have the capacity to realize what you are doing", yet you can be tried as an adult for committing crimes because youy knew what you were doing.

There have been cases where two underage kids have been having s*e*x for years, but one (usually the male) turns 18 and the other is still under 18 and now it's suddenly a crime. 150 years ago it was not at all uncommon for a 14 year old to be married.

I am not advocating that every person over 18 suddenly start dating 14 year olds but let's get real here, who got hurt? If someone is doing it just for s*e*x it's one thing but who is to say they aren't in love and would get married. I read something recently about that happening. It may have been the high profile case of the female teacher and the underage boy that had one or two kids (I can't remember). She went to jail for a few years and now she is out and they are together or married.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - did anyone ask the boy how he felt? Maybe he was the one who dropped his pants first. 14 year olds are having more sex than married adults these days.

If a 14 yr old boy dropped his pants in my presence...i think i'd vomit. This boy doesn't know what he wants. He's a BOY!!!! The week before he was bangin his baby sitter, he was probably in love with a cute popular girl in his math class. Before that, his next door neighbor. This woman should be punished for what she has done. It's disgusting. There are perfectly grown and matured men out there who are willing to give it up to any savage or hyena, like this broad. She shouldn't even be considered a woman! She is making he rest of us look bad. My son is 7, and in 7 years he will be 14. I think im all set with giving my blessings to a savage from Idaho or wherever it is that she's from..

I would just like to say to all you guys out there that feel this should not be prosecuted... if it were opposite, and it were a 28 y/o man, and 14 y/o girl... you would be out for blood. Even IF it was the girl that did the pursuing. You forget...girls at that age are just as curious, and at the mercy of the same raging horomones.

On that note... for all you bible thumpers out there... Why did our maker design us to procreate at puberty, if he did NOT want us to do so at that time? Answer: The laws of sex and love are MAN'S law... not God's.

Think about that for a while ;)

Pedophiles used to be almost exclusively male.

Women have obviously achieved parity.
