Charlie Sheen Spends Christmas Day Behind Bars for Alleged Domestic Abuse

ASPEN, Colo. (CBS/AP) Charlie Sheen spent part of his Christmas in jail after being arrested at a home in Aspen.

Police say the "Two and A-Half Men" actor is accused of using a weapon in an alleged case of domestic violence in the Colorado ski resort town.

Police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro did not provide details on what kind of weapon Sheen is accused of using.

Sheen also was arrested on investigation of second-degree assault, a felony, and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Sheen's lawyer didn't return a telephone call Sunday seeking comment.

Sheen hasn't been charged and was released Friday after posting an $8,500 bond. Prosecutors will determine whether to file charges.

I do not consider Charlie Sheen and his behaviour worth the time it takes to prosecute him as long as his idiot wife wants to stay with him. Same goes for Tiger Woods. I just don't care. This isn't news. Now, the fact that the big banks and bankers that received 7 Trillion dollars of our money to pay bonuses despite the fact that they simultaneously sold bad loans to investors while profitting from bets they placed with AIG that the loans would fail is news that should be on the front page of every paper.
We are being FLEECED as a country, and the only news being covered is of an addict actor waving a ski pole at his gold-digging wife (or whatever the 'weapon' was).

Seriously. All you people are going to wake up in about a year and say, "What the hell happened to our economy?!! Why is gas 4$ a gallon and why is the dollar worth less than a mexican peso???!!".... and your only recollection of information is going to involve some actor's domestic dumbness.

Anyway, Charlie clearly believes that the rules that govern the rest of us don't apply to him. A very stiff jail (or prison) sentence is LONG overdue. That is the only way to make the message stick.
