Protester allegedly raped at 'Occupy Cleveland'

(CBS/WOIO) CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident that occured Saturday at the "Occupy Cleveland" rally involving a 19-year-old female student.

According to police reports, the 19-year-old student was instructed by "Occupy Cleveland" personnel to "share a tent with the suspect due to a shortage of tents."

The suspect identified himself as "Leland" to the woman. The woman told police that after she thought the suspect went to sleep in his own bed, she slept in a sleeping bag provided to her by the rally, reports CBS station WOIO.

The student then went to school Monday and told a teacher about her sexual assault incident, which is now being classified as a "kidnapping/rape." This prompted the teacher to immediately contact the authorities.

"Occupy Cleveland" is one of many movements taking place nationwide in the wake of "Occupy Wall Street," which is protesting against corporate greed.

Ashley Todd -- who has a backward letter "B" scratched into her right cheek -- confessed to faking the story and will be charged with filing a false report, Assistant Police Chief Maurita Bryant said at a news conference Friday.

Something doesn't add up here. Where is the rest of the story? Why didn't she scream to alert nearby protesters? She probably got into the moment, then later regretted it, and to quell her guilt cried "rape". That has happened many times, and its a wonder any man is attracted to women these days with this possibility.

You're so upset you do diddly squat about it later that night and all through the next day.

Then, the day after that, you "talk to a prof" about it.

by TheSeven7 October 20, 2011 4:39 AM EDT: What the article doesn't mention is that the school she attends is for the mentally challenged. That information makes the rest of the article make sense.

The thing I'm seeing with the "leaderless rule" is that no one can be held responsible for the poor decisions of individuals or the majority. This takes the old "blame society" mantra, and puts them in charge--this time, without any kind of accountability.
