Woman, 24, beat girl, 12, for eyeing boyfriend, say Conn. cops

A 24-year-old Connecticut woman is charged with assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

Police say the 24-year-old woman believed the 12-year-old girl was eyeing her 30-year-old boyfriend.

Go ahead, read it again.

The Hartford Courant reports that Candice Kiley, of New Haven, was charged Tuesday in connection with the July 23 attack. According to police, Kiley was attending a family birthday party when she grabbed the 12-year-old by the hair and threw her to the floor. Police said the girl then suffered an asthma attack.

Police said Kiley's boyfriend - did we mention he's 30? - was in the kitchen cleaning up a spill when the "woman v. girl" confrontation took place.

Kiley was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor.

People like this should simply be slaughtered and used for fuel. We have far too many people in this wretched world as it is. Bring back the Goddmann chair and Guillotine.

The sad thing is the 12-year-old may look 22 and the boyfriend could have a history of sleeping around and with underage girls to boot...he may have driven her to this insane jealously attack! Poor thing, I hope she finds love in the slammer.

Shows how much self esteem you have and how much you trust your boyfriend, you chinless wonder.

If your boyfriend has more than an ounce of brains he'll dump your sorry a$$ before you kill some waitress who smiles at him while asking for his order.

Sadly, anger management is sorely needed in the USA. Our ability to act with dignity and decorum has been lost on the younger generations. This I blame on total lack of control in our public schools, and on parents who are too busy texting to spend time with their kids. Sad commentary on how uncouth we Americans are.

by Fatesrider August 12, 2011 3:29 PM EDT: tirebiter1, I'm with Chris on this one. 24 is yesteryear's 12 as far as the maturity and consideration level goes in today's under 30 crowd. Most 24 year olds today act exactly like 12 year olds did in my time. The latest generation, in general, seems to have all of the self discipline, sense of responsibility and respect for others as a room full of unsupervised toddlers.

And the parents are to blame for not teaching them how to be functional, productive adults.

Since corporal punishment has fallen out of favor, I say bring back public floggings. It's cheaper than prison or jail and it's an experience most people don't want to ever repeat.
