(CBS/AP) PHOENIX - A Colorado woman who admits she's had it with invasive airport searches was arrested in Phoenix after she allegedly conducted her own personal pat-down of a Transportation Security Administration agent - complete with grabbing and squeezing the female agent's breast.

Police say 61-year-old Yukari Miyamae of Longmont, Colo. admitted grabbing the left breast of a TSA agent Thursday afternoon at Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport. Authorities say Miyamae refused to go through passenger screening and became argumentative before she squeezed the agent with both hands. She was arrested and released from jail on Friday.

Phoenix police say Miyamae had continued to argue with officers before she was arrested. She was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse, which is a felony, but no charges have been filed.

As for her unhappiness with airport security, the New York Post quoted Miyamae as saying, "I go through this every week, and every week there is some problem."

The Department of Homeland Security defended the arrest, saying "the agency will not tolerate assaults against its workforce," the newspaper reported. A source denied that a TSA officer patted down Miyamae.

She's facing a preliminary hearing on Aug. 4.

A Facebook page in support of Miyamae had more than 500 supporters on Monday. Some posters on the page, though, defended the TSA's search procedures as necessary for public safety.

Nobody wants to be groped, and nobody wants to grope people unnecessarily (Unless they are perverts). I have been through security enough to know that many times these security checkpoint people are overly aggressive. I see it as this, the lady did not want to be felt up........... so she put the security person in her shoes. Nobody deserves to have any person put their hands all over another persons privates. It is all about respecting each other as individuals but somehow some people take things to far. Just as is there is protocol, she knew what was in store when she bought her airline ticket. I know every time i go the airport i wear light clothes and carry empty pocket because i am aware of protocol. Then again i am not female, and do understand the privacy issues are way more important for the female gender.

"the agency will not tolerate assaults against its workforce,"

And we will not accept assaults against innocent passengers either.
