(CBS) - Juror No. 12 in the Casey Anthony trial has left her job and went into hiding fearing that her co-workers "want her head on a platter" after she and the 11 other jurors acquitted Anthony of first-degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee, says a report.

Her husband said before leaving she told him "I'd rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again," reports MSNBC.

Juror No. 12, a red-haired woman in her 60s, told the court she worked at a Publix Grocery when she was questioned as a potential juror.

Now, while the court record of all the jurors' names still remains sealed, she is terrified that she could face public scrutiny due to the controversial verdict.

Her husband had packed his own bag and says he's ready to leave if and when the court releases his wife's name, reports MSNBC.

Last week Anthony was acquitted on first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter charges in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

After the sentencing, protesters chanted Caylee's name outside the courthouse as well as "Justice for Caylee."

Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to a total of four years in jail on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement, as well as a fine of $4,000, plus court costs. However, due to credit for time served and good behavior, Anthony is scheduled to be released this Sunday, July 17.

This case was all handled wrong. For one the evidence was right infront of the people's face, Casey's daughter was dead for a month and no report that her child had drowed clue one. People had evidence of her showing no remorse while her child was missing. Casey was partying and having a good time. Casey claimed she drowend and her father had helped her despose of the body but then when push comes to shove her father doesnt have anything to say. then when investigation is made they find search records made on the anthany home computer of the same things was found on Calee's skull. I'm sorry but If it was in my hands Casey would be setting behinde bars for a life time, Enough evidence for me.

I have no sympathy. These jurors KNEW she was guilty, but let her go, anyway. All because they didn't think the prosecutor was as entertaining as the ones on CSI:Miami.

I do not think this juror or any juror is in fear for their lives. I also do not think they are moving because of this. They may have already planned to move but I doubt they move at all. She claims she hopes she is never on a jury like this again. Well everyone else hopes so too. She wanted to have a full summer so she set a baby killer free. Wonder how fast she would come out of hiding if money was offered to her to do an interview?

The only people more moronic than the jurors are the people threating them. I hope they are caught and found guilty by a jury now wouldnt that be ironic.

I do not feel sorry for her at all and could care a less where she goes and hides. My 4 year old could have come to the conclusion that Casey Anthony is guilty. The prosecution did a wonderful job and unless you are completely incapable of understanding anything this required little intelligence. This jury was nothing but lazy. They had trashy cruises planned, probably annoyed they missed some backwards 4th of July celebration at their kin folks and simply wanted to do nothing other than get home. Should they have given it their all and done the right thing then that would have cost them a few more days for sentencing. What kind of jury did we have again?...A Publix employee, a man who teaches "Gym" and a verizon wireless salesman who refers to himself as an I.T. guy.
I am also thrilled that the fat slob Jennifer Ford with the Outlet Mall hair style and gel look, as well as, her lisp enjoyed she and her family trip to Disney World. She is 32, single and still in school winning a trip to a childs amusement park for her story. I couldn't understand half of what she was saying from her speech problem. It explains why no one wants to marry her and why she can't seem to graduate from school with the other 21 year olds.
Let's don't forget about the chef juror who is holding out for more money to tell his story.
I can't stand any of them and I could care a less about how secure they are and who says what to them where. They are a waste of space.
So for those who do care...lets go to change.org and sign the petition for Caylee's law. I am sure I know 12 people who won't care enough to do it.

It is sad that someone feels as though they have to move because they fear for their life. Do I think she is guilty? Hell Yes!!! But we have to remember that the Jury does not get to hear everything thing that we got to hear. Some of the information was excluded from evidence and etc so they don't know about it. None of us were in that room making that decision, a decision I am sure they did not come by lightly. People need to get over this and move on. Did the justice system work this time? No it did not. If you want someone to blame, then maybe you should blame the prosecution for not presenting a better case. "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" is not something you should take lightly. You cannot presume to understand what those 12 people went through until you have walked a mile in their shoes.

unfortunately the body was so decomposed and the evidenced washed away. If the body could have been collected in August 2008 just 2 months after she was killed perhaps the outcome could have been different.

In my opinion, I don't think that they should release a jurors name no matter what the verdict was. Cases like this makes me not want to be called to jury duty no matter what kind of case it is.

I watched almost all of the trial (couldn't help it it was on at work). and the prosecution not only did a crap job they went after the death penalty with completely circumstantial evidence and not very good evidence at that. yes, the girl died, how?
when exactly?
who was present at the time of her death?
who put her in the woods?
where was mommie dearest when the little girl died?
was the death accidental?
was it a drowning?
was it an unintentional poisoning/asphyxiation?
was she molested before or after death? or at all?

the prosecution didn't show any of that!
and in a death penalty case you have to keep to the highest standards of proof BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT!
you cant unstick that needle.

IMHO they should have gone for 2nd degree murder and asked for life W/O parole. but the jury was backed into a corner and I just don't think that the prosecution and the DA's office did a very good job. Casey certainly wasn't mother of the year, but that whole family was pretty screwed up. there are a lot of secrets and lies that we will never know. and the truth of what really happened will probably never come out. but the bottom line is that as much as I would have wanted to strap her into ol' sparky myself. The evidence just wasn't there to prove that she made a plan to kill daughter and carried it out, and then went about covering up the evidence, AND that no one else was involved.

It is a shame that the ignorati now want to go after the jurors who had no other choice in the matter but to free her (against all of their consciences I'm sure) but we don't decide peoples fate based on conscience, we decide it on facts of the case. and now mob rule (the very thing the jury system was created to prevent) had turned its ugly face on the real innocent civilians, the poor suckers who got called in for jury duty and took their civic duty seriously enough to make what for most of them has been the most difficult decision of their lives. I for one commend them.

The last time she was seen alive was June 16th
Even the defense says her MOTHER was present at the time of her death
Her mother put her in the woods
Is it customary to make accidental deaths look like murders?
Does someone drowning disprove murder? Andrea Yates and Susan Smith murdered their children that way
And how does unintentional suffocation/poisoning disprove manslaughter and child abuse
How does molestation the Grandfather disprove murder committed by the mother? And on that note, there aren't even allegations by the defense that Caylee was molested and there is certainly no evidence that Casey was ever molested by George. Most importantly, that wasn't part of the defense so how could that even be considered in deliberations? But then I remember, the jury are idiots.

Does life exist in outer space?
If you can't prove that it doesn't, then you can't prove that missing persons aren't really alien abductions....

They hardly took their deliberations seriously when in less than 10 hours they voted in a foreman, went over their instructions, and had over a months of testimony to go over. No once did they go back and ask for clarity, testimony to be read back ect.

It's a shame that justice for this child hinged on the ability for 12 idiots to use logic and reason.

These jurors shouldn't quit there jobs they should QUIT LIFE ALL TOGETHER. casey, jose, the defense team, and the jurors should all COMMIT SUICIDE.

I mean come on, get real, how can these 12 jurors truly be that stupid, those who support the jurors need to cut the B S. CAYLEE stuffed in a garbage bag with duct tape around skull dumped in the woods. Caylee was in a car before she was dumped in the woods HELLO someone had to DRIVE her to the woods. Who had a car that a cadaver dog alerted to human decomposition and that same person has a dead daughter that was dumped in the woods, HELLO, WHAT F ING MORE DID THESE TOTAL RETARDED JURORS NEED?

Your ignorance is showing.

No jury deserves threats. That being said, this jury ignored the evidence, the lies, the duck tape over her mouth, etc. I refuse to listen to excuses for their negligence in delivering a verdict that few other juries would have had difficulties with. Scott Peterson was convicted on far less evidence.

Never actually spent time on a jury have you?
by debbie1120 July 14, 2011 1:41 PM EDT
They had DNA and other proof that Scott Peterson was the one who killed his wife and child. As well as cause of death. They don't know how this baby died.

STOP STOP, STOP blaming these jurors for doing their civic duty !! they did what they were supposed to BY LAW and what they had to work with BY law NONE of YOU WERE SITTING IN THE JURY BOX therefore its not right to criticise these people or harass them or anything else LEAVE THEM ALONE!!IF ANYONE WOULD CARE TO THINK ABOUT HOW sometimes justice is served and I dont mean to act out to harm another person either, sometimes you have to allow time for things to run their course and HOW WOULD ALL OF YOU FEEL IF IT WERE YOU ON THAT JURY and felt what they felt ?? you dont know unless you are there !! yes, I agree this little child died and can never be brought back to life and as much as many people are angered and saddened by the entire scenario and want to voice their opinions, dont lash out at these jurors or anyone else its showing how barbaric ,people have become, yes, this is very hard for people to digest and will be for quite awhile, do something to make a child safe, help educate parents more and be common sense about it, law enforcement and the volunteers feel just as bad too you dont see them out and harassing people or sending death threats they are trying to protect all of you from yourselves becoming monsters too !!

Yes, how dare we accuse the jurors of ignoring glaring evidence.
by debbie1120 July 14, 2011 1:44 PM EDT
vielmann - what glaring evidence? They didn't have evidence to tell anyone how that baby died. The prosecution did not do their job, just like the prosecution team for OJ's trial.
