Search for Holly Bobo stalled by weather

(CBS/WTVF/AP) PARSONS, Tenn. - Heavy rain moving through western Tennessee has hampered the search for 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo, who was last seen being dragged away from her home by a man in camouflage, officials say.

A break in the rain midday Friday allowed volunteers and police to resume the search for Bobo, near Parsons, about 100 miles northeast of Memphis.

Authorities don't have any suspects in the case, which is being investigated as an abduction, said Decatur County Sheriff Roy Wyatt. Wyatt announced a $25,000 reward in the case at a press conference Thursday.

Bobo has been missing since Wednesday. Her older brother told authorities he saw a man wearing camouflage drag her from her home toward the woods. Several law enforcement agencies and hundreds of volunteers have searched the surrounding woods and fields.

Bobo is 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was seen around 7:30 a.m. wearing a pink shirt and light blue jeans. Officials ask that if you see Holly or anything suspicious contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Ms Bobo would have been found long ago, Caylee Anthony's killer might be known Positively and the trial could have been avoided

by flowergal007 April 17, 2011 11:59 AM EDT: This situation just seems to get worse each time I hear more news and it started with the get go...there's confusion with initial details from her brother as to if she went willingly...force into the woods or dragged. The lunch box was found in one place and now another...and her belongings and cell phone found along the road. How do they really know if they did not get into a car at some point that was planted somewhere ...they don't and with the weather the evidence has to be washed a way. He could have walked her 3 feet intot the woods and walked her along the road line and put her in a car and drove away and tossed her things out of the window. The brother supposedly thought it was the boy friend and didn't check things out for another hour because he saw her car in the drive - there is no way he would no if they went into the woods. And why would he not think that was a little wierd to watch her walk into the woods at that hour. Why wasn't she screaming. Something doesn't sound right. I'm sorry but I suspect him or one of his friends.; Reply to this comment

Other news sources are now reporting that the brother saw Holly walking with a man toward the woods and that, at the time, he thought it was her boyfriend. It was only later in the morning, when he discovered her car still at home (she was supposed to be at classes) and blood in the carport, that he realized something was wrong and called the police.

Local news reports also state that the brother and Holly's boyfriend are not suspects.

It's too bad that the initial reports from police and/or media weren't accurate.

We also don't know if the brother originally told police that his sister was dragged away from the home and then changed his story after they didn't find any marks on the ground that would confirm that and re-interviewed him, presenting that information. It's hard to believe the story would be one way for two days and then, all of sudden, a new version is being put out into the media.

We don't know what the investigators know. This story could end up with family members being involved, after all.

There's no possible way that he couldn't have ben caught wen he was dragging Holly, which mustve slowed him down a lot, Especially going to the woods?
