NEW YORK (CBS/AP) It happened Saturday night as Delta Flight 6562 from Chicago began its descent into J.F.K. International.

An emotionally disturbed passenger stripped naked.

Newspaper manager David Holland, who was on the plane, said flight attendants tried to cover the woman with a blanket while she yelled "No! No! No!"

Holland said that when the plane landed other passengers got off before police removed the woman.

A spokeswoman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said the woman, whose name was not released, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

She was not expected to be criminally charged.

I was also on this flight. This woman acted very strangely from the beginning of the flight, before the cabin doors were closed, running to the front of the plane and begging to be let off. And her screaming started much earlier, and didn't stop until we were taxiing. The flight attendants all acted with great professionalism, though, in a really scary situation.

This is another insipid misogynist rant by Edecio. When will he leave women alone?

I don?t see any misogynism here, just a description of events.
By the way, what would have happened if a man did this? Would he have been charged ?

I might start to fly again if they are going to have naked women on the flights. Might be worth putting up with the TSA crap

Some do bizzare things to get attention, especially where there is a captive audience. In this case that may have been a secondary element but the primary one may well have been emotional disturbance.
At summer cricket matches in England you get streakers running across the field in full view of thousands and policemen hurrying after them with blankets.
