FREDONIA, Ariz. (CBS/KPHO) It's been more than a month since anyone has seen Clay Branham, a 30-year-old Utah man who went missing in Arizona.

But as police continue to investigate the disappearance, his family and friends have organized their search efforts online and have enlisted hundreds of people to help in their search across the southwestern United States.

Branham was last seen checking out a lodge in Kanab, Utah. On July 21, he used his credit card to buy gas in Fredonia, Ariz. Fredonia is east of Colorado City and just south of the Arizona-Utah state line.

With over 3,000 friends on Facebook, the Finding Clay Branham volunteer-based search group has descended on the Arizona-Utah border area several times. They have combed the area for any signs of Branham.

The group will again search the Fredonia area this Saturday in hopes that the start of hunting season the increased eyes in the area could turn up new leads.

Branham is described as 5-feet-8-inches tall, 165 pounds, and wearing Wranglers and rounded toe boots. He always wears a ball cap or a cowboy hat and has a tattoo on his right shoulder of a purple crescent moon with white clouds. He was driving a 2001 black GMC truck with an extended-cab and a Nevada license plate 398-VAW.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Coconino County Silent Witness at 928-774-6111.

Seems like alot missing people are with some possessions such as car, credit cards etc. Maybe someone was after his things. Follow the trail of money.

Most people go fishing or hunting with a friend. Whey did he go on this trip by himself??? Is he married??? As the other poster stated, could he have given someone a lift. As I understand it, he stayed at that lodge?? The people who are on the desk there should know if he made any friends there? His friends should go back to the lodge and leave and follow the route he would have taken. If he has met with foul play, they may never find him.

I'm on the other side of the world but the first thing that came into my mind when I saw his picture is a "fishing" connection. I don't know what this means. Did he go fishing at this lodge and perhaps meet someone there and offered a lift to this person. Felt I had to respond.
