NEW YORK (CBS) Lorenzen Wright's former assistant is filing suit against three different people who she believes have slandered her since Wright's body was found nearly one month ago.

Wendy Wilson believes her comments regarding the investigation into Wright's death have led to a "barrage of media misconceptions" and hopes the lawsuits send a message that "it's going to stop here," reports WMC-TV.

On the day Wright's body was found, Wilson arrived at the crime scene and suggested investigators question Wright's ex-wife Sherra, because she says Sherra changed the details of her story.

The former assistant's plight began days later, when radio talk show host Thaddeus Matthews gave his listeners her cell phone number.

"He used means of intimidation via large airwaves and had people call and threaten me and put me in a bad light," Wilson told WMC-TV. "And all I did was tell the truth."

Matthews, who admits to giving out her number says, "bring it on."

In addition to Matthews, Wilson is also suing Gail Mathes, Sherra Wright's divorce attorney, for $2.5 million for comments she made, as well as Commercial Appeal columnist Geoff Calkins for $1.5 million for things he wrote about her in his column, reports WMC-TV.

The wife story has changed many times and each story sounds more insane to believe than the other. Someone comes to your home looking for your ex-husband and states he kill you and your children and you tell no one about it...not even after your husband went missing. When you are questioned than this little piece of information is suddenly important.
