Christine Hubbs Facing 67 Sexual Assault Charges For Statutory Rape

PLEASANTON, Calif. (CBS/KPIX/AP) Christine Hubbs, a 42-year-old mother who allegedly had a long-term sexual relationship with two teenage boys, has been arraigned on felony charges of unlawful sex, but delayed entering a plea while her defense lawyer reviews the evidence against her.

Hubbs, of suburban Livermore, Calif. remained jailed on $4.3 million bail following a brief court appearance Monday. She's facing 67 counts.

The mother of three was arrested Thursday following an investigation that began July 27 when the mother of one of the alleged victims said she found a nude photo of Hubbs on her son's cell phone, said Livermore police Lt. Matt Sarsfield.

A police affidavit from the case alleges that Hubbs made advances on one of the boys when he was 14 and dating her daughter.

Authorities say that relationship lasted from December 2008 to January of this year.

Police said while they were investigating, they interviewed another boy who said he was also having sex with Hubbs. That boy, who is now 14 years old, told police he had a sexual relationship with Hubbs from December 2009 through July.

"The sex occurred in the county of Alameda, throughout different locations, hotels, including her vehicle," Sarsfield said.

Hubbs gave gifts and money to the two boys while maintaining the alleged relationships, Sarsfield said.

He described the two teens as "very scared" during the course of the investigation. Their names have not been released.

Hubbs' husband attended Monday's court hearing, as did stunned friends of the couple.

They have a child molester for a mother and a lunatic for a father! He is going to let the children around this registered sex offender, this child rapist?? The children should be taken away from the both and put in a safe environment. the families of the victims should sue the Hubbs for their house on Ruby Hill, the Hummer, and any other assets. She is a PEDATOR and changed the potential these boys had in life and this cannot be given back. She ruined the lives of her victims and her own children and is a disgusting human being. Some of her charges include battery and lewd and lavicous acts on a minor with FORCE (does that sound like these boys...and remember in the eyes of the law they are still boys...consented to every act?) This is not a one time incident or one "affair" and believe there are more "victims" that have not come forward yet. "Chrissy" and her hummer going 80 mph loaded with children shooting pellet guns at unsuspecting targets (and I am saying targets as is MANY people and MANY times) terrorized our neighborhoods for too long. by alien_view August 16, 2010 4:40 PM EDT: Young teen boys often get love lust for some of their teachers, mentors and friends mothers and sisters. Most of these boys grow out of this at some point. A few do not and become obsessed with the female to the point as placing themselves between their peer group and things they have said involving the other person. We have seen this over and over again in young boys. With all of the porn on the internet is it easy to understand young imaginations going wild over a love lust situation and having to back down from saying something happened when in fact it did not. Teens are under a tremendous peer pressure now and are more afraid of their peers than the law or hurting the other person. Quit judging someone on hearsay...the press has it's story along with the police...Too bad their reputation can't be smeared all over the media..whether true or not. I dont know but those kids are lucky to have had her for two years and the other for over one. I guess her home life wasnt as good as the photos made it seem. Come on people this is what movies are made out of. American Pie... like people are really shocked by this! Divorced the cop and started doing all her son's friends...about the same age as this gal.

This sounds a lot like the hysteria of the Tonya Craft case, she was eventually exonerated but not before the prosecution spread massive lies though the media. Keep in mind prosecutors and police don't have to tell the truth or have any ethics when making allegations

by mecury69 August 12, 2010 4:19 PM EDT: That was a fondling case involving kindergartners; very hard to prove and children that age can be easily manipulated by adults on either side.

This involved teenagers who are far more aware of their surroundings and require a much more direct approach to get their participation.

The, 'let's wait for the facts' is for the legal process, not public opinion (be that right or wrong).

There have been plenty of other cases of female pedophiles praying on children and teenagers to warrant this story and the opinions posted on this site.

He gives them a few gifts, has his way with them sexually. Would you be alright with this? Would you be submitting your stories on here saying, leave him alone, these girls will be just fine in life...they can brag it up to thier friends.
