73-Year-Old Great-Grandmother Takes a Bite Out of Crime...Literally

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (CBS/AP) When thieves hit, this great-grandmother bit.
A 73-year-old woman in Daytona Beach bit an assailant and was dragged several feet hanging on to the getaway car of a couple who snatched her purse.
Patricia Robertson doesn't know how she summoned the strength, but the commotion she created helped get her stuff back.
Police say Robertson was accosted at a gas station over the weekend by a man and woman who grabbed her purse and tried to speed off.
On instinct, Robertson says she bit the man hard enough to draw blood and hung on to the thieves' truck when that failed.
A bystander who saw the attack called 911 and followed the assailants, updating police until they could apprehend the couple.
Robertson says she's sore and almost lost a tooth, but thankful for the good Samaritan's help.
