Three New Jersey Teens Charged With Murder After Beating Immigrant

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS/AP) Three teens have been charged with murder in the beating death of a 47-year-old Salvadoran immigrant, in the upscale community of Summit, N.J.

Not only that, but authorities say the teens also filmed the attack using a phone video-camera, and then circulated the video among teenagers in the town.

To add still further insult to injury, as the father of four, Abelino Mazaniego, clung to life, a nurse in the emergency room allegedly helped himself to the $640.00 that was in the victim's wallet.

Mazaniego had just finished his restaurant shift the evening of July 17 and was relaxing on a bench when three young men, ages 17, 18, 19, approached and decided to attack the man for no apparent reason.

According to The Star Ledger, the video recorded at the scene shows one teenager holding Mazaniego's shirt in front of him while another punched him in the face.

Khayri Williams-Clark, 18, Nigel Dumas, 19, and an unidentified 17-year-old were arrested July 21, one day after the victim died, and have been charged with murder rather than manslaughter, which was the original charge.

Nurse Stephan Randolph, 39, allegedly the took money out of Mazaniego's wallet, and is charged with third-degree theft.

Am praying for his family, children, wife, mother and all that knew him. This is sooo sad and having come from a far off place to make it better for his family is just sad.

Find the man some justice and look them up for good, what a waste of life all around.

I love it.

First, it's just amazing how when African Americans are charged with crimes like these their photos are almost always part of the article. I research hate crimes every single day, and have for a couple years straight now, and most of the time it is a real pain in my butt to confirm whether the alleged attackers were "White", because if they are it's almost never mentioned in the article an their photos are almost never published. But photos of African Americans charged with such crimes are apparently a requirement.

I also love how as soon as so-called "Whites" see that an African American is charged with such a crime, they have to point out the defendant's so-called "race". Many "Whites" get so proud of themselves when they can point out that people from groups other than our own can commit acts based on "race". Well, that's just plain silly. The fact is that we ("Whites") are the VAST VAST perpetrators of incidents that are based on bias. There's easily 100 incidents committed by "Whites" for every 1 incident committed by a so-called "Non-White". It's so seldom that "Non-Whites" are racist that "Whites" tried to create racism where there was none in the Shirley Sherrod incident. How many "White" supremacist organizations are there worldwide? Thousands. How many Asian, Arab, African, Latino supremacist organizations are there worldwide? I can't think of even one. How many genocides have we "Whites" attempted to commit, based on bias? How many have other groups attempted, based on bias? Come on my fellow so-called "Whites", let's be honest with ourselves. We have a sickness that other groups do not have. That is what we should be concerned about, not the rare instance of a "Non-White" acting like we traditionally do.

Oh, and for any so-called ?Whites? who want to reply to this post saying that they make it a point to respond to ALL bias incidents equally: Prove it. With your comment, include links to articles about bias incidents committed by ?Whites? that you wrote similar comments to. If you can?t include links proving that you respond equally, then don?t bother responding at all, bc we?ll all know you?re full of b.s.

I got a little news for you.
This ain't about you. This story isn't about how "racist" I might be as a white man. What a selfish letter.
This is about an UGLY crime that was committed for no reason.
A man had his life taken away by a couple of animals who have no reason to go on living.
A man was taken away from his loved ones. Whatever he was to be in the future was taken away. Everything he WAS, and all the things he did to make it to this day are all for nothing. Because some low life scum decided they had some sort of right to KILL another person.
Try to think about that for a bit.

The other day when this article came out, I stated they attackers were black. Because their race and hate crime was not mentioned in the article. I was called racist..... I say journalism is dead! I can tell the race of the accused by the careful treading of the article.

I live in Texas where we execute more criminals than anywhere else in the country. These murderers deserve the death penalty, in my opinion, but I wonder if they can get that in N J.

These criminals weren't committing a hate crime, they were just picking on a convenient victim. They are just criminals......bad, bad teens, who are vicious demons, and enjoy killing to show off to their friends!

The world doesn't need these kinds of kids. Try them as adults, convict and sentence them to die. Let's start eliminating our criminal problem, by eliminating the criminals from existence.

I think we should make it manditory that every teenager has to play all those violent games and watch these horrer movies for the first 15 years of their lives, that way we can turn them all into animals like these guys.
Oh, don't forget to make sure their parents don't give a damn about where they are or what they do.

This is the all-too-common outcome of Free Range Breeding. These animals should have never been born. Everything else we do in this society requires training, licensing, certification, qualification, education, etc. You have to have a license to drive a car, you have to go to school to be a doctor, etc. These sub-human's egg and sperm donors were merely exercising their "reproductive rights" and now a man has paid for this with his life.
