CLEARWATER, Fla. (CBS/WTSP) Closing arguments have wrapped and a jury is now deliberating in the trial of Rachel Wade, 20, who is accused of stabbing Sarah Ludemann to death over a young man they were both dating.

Wade stabbed Ludemann twice in the heart with a kitchen knife in April of 2009. According to prosecutors, the stabbing was a murder, the result of a teenage love triangle. They say the two young women had spent months fighting through text messages and voicemails over Joshua Camacho.

Friday Morning, Wade was led into a Pinellas County, Florida courtroom, and then the prosecution and the defense delivered their closing arguments. Wade's parents sat in the courtroom watching the proceedings, along with about 10 of Wade's young girlfriends. Many are in college and out of school for the summer.

"We're nervous," Wade's father told CBS affiliate WTSP outside the courtroom.

She's holding up in jail "as well as can be expected," one of Wade's friends told WTSP.

On Thursday, Prosecutors played explicit voicemails from Wade left for Ludemann. In one, Wade says, "You're f**cking fat dumb, and I'm going to kill you. I swear on my life, walk out your f**cking door tonight you dumb b**tch."

Wade testified in her own defense saying that she was acting in self defense the night Ludemann was murdered. "I didn't mean to do it," Rachel sobbed. "They were coming after me. I threw my arms in the air."

Jay Hebert, her defense attorney asked her, "Were you acting in self defense?"

She answered, "Yes."

Wade faces a minimum of 20-and-a-half years in prison if convicted on the second-degree murder charge. She faces a maximum of life in prison.

I was disappointed that Rachel Wade didn't get at least 40 years. She should have been given life, after all, Sarah Ludemann got death. My 4 year old knows it's wrong to even hit for something he wants. What makes Rachel think she can kill for something that she wants? Someone obviously grew up very spoiled, thinking they could have whatever they wanted at anyone's cost. Hmmm... wonder what she'll want when she gets out of prison?

Crying over a guy is bad enough, but killing so as to put yourself in prison for the rest of your life is nuts.

Okay, she could have stayed in the house, she had several guys around her. She could have jumped in the car and driven anywhere else, but she rolled up on them. I do believe that they went riding around to find her as well, but she did not act like she was afraid if she got out of the car to begin with. If I was that afraid, I would have gone to jail, but it would be for running over anyone that got in front of a moving car.

It doesn't surprise me that the girls made death threats over a two timing boy friend. These threats are made everyday and seldom have any real meaning. The exceptionally crude words with the "F" word being used so often only indicates that she's been running around with a bunch of punks much too long. What does surprise me though is that these two girls were so hard up for a punk boy friend.

did u eve think she could be the "Punk Leader", as you described. She guilty, plain and simple. She should have walked away from the time she found out he was cheating, instead she choose to fight treatned and eventually true to her words KILL.

Irresponsible parents raise moron children.

Of course the killer would claim it was self-defense. WHAT ELSE could she say?

Who CARES!! she's a murderer, she can fall apart or "hold up" it doesn't matter to us.

LOL, pathetic! she makes all these voicemail and text THREATS to kill the other girl, and then she claims "self defense" and her arms I guess just flew up not once but TWICE with a knife and just happened to stab the other girl in the heart both times, yeah, real likely.

Enjoy JAIL honey!

Self defense would be if Rachel was at home, or in the boy's house and got cornered. She thought she would get a reputation as "Betty Bad-A**", but she did not think that fatal means final. I bet she does not think her parents are so stupid after all.

My first thought is why didn't someone talk sense to these girls not to fight over a cad. A similar situation happened to me as a teenager when our peers set up a confrontation between myself and the other girl about a guy we were both seeing. We both dumped his ass and became best friends. Parents need to teach their children well.

Sarah LudeMann doesn't appear as though she "belonged" with this group. The other two appear to deserve each other.

wow, it's sad to see that people view life so lightly that they can just kill someone for such a shallow reason!
