Lisette Lee (PICTURE): Plane Lands in Ohio with 500 Pounds of Pot, Says DEA

COLUMBUS, Ohio (CBS/WBNS) Federal agents say they have arrested Lisette Lee after allegedly finding more than 500 pounds of marijuana in her luggage.

Federal Drug Enforcement Agency officials arrested the 28-year-old on Monday night, CBS affiliate WBNS reports, after a chartered jet landed at Port Columbus International Airport. .

Lee, from Beverly Hills, was flying from California to Columbus, Ohio when officials say they noticed she was traveling with a large amount of luggage.

The DEA in California tipped off officials in Columbus, and when the plane landed, agents were waiting as luggage, allegedly containing the marijuana, was loaded into three waiting vans, WBNS reports.

The DEA says the plane was carrying 13 bags of luggage.

According to WBNS, Lee told government agents she had no idea she was transporting drugs, but agents said they found cocaine and marijuana in her bag, along with a ledger that showed profits in excess of $300,000.

"She told investigators she was coming here to meet a boyfriend," Alverson said.

Lee claimed to DEA agents that she was an heir to the Samsung electronics fortune, a claim that Samsung denied in a statement.

"Contrary to some media reports, Lisette Lee is not an heiress of Samsung Electronics and is not a member of Samsung's Lee family," the statement read.

Lee arrived on a chartered Gulf Stream jet that cost $50,000 round trip.

She is being held without bond.

Oh my god!!! I just was released from the Franklin County Jail and had the priviledge of being confined in the same pod as Ms. Lisette Lee. Boy do I have stories for the world. She is a pathalogical liar!!! She just recently was moved from the dorm because she claimed that someone "stole" her Chanel eyeglasses. Oh boy did she upset the entire dorm with her ridiculous antics. For someone who claims that she went to Yale...she isn't too bright. This poor girl decided that if she became friends with the biggest african american women that she would be protected. Talk about someone that stereotypes women in jail. Franklin County Jail is NOT some hardcore prison. She wouldn't take a shower because of it being unsterile, she continues to wear makeup that she had someone create out of colored pencils and deodorant. Pretty funny that she comes from all of this "money" yet her family never brought her t-shirts, panties, bras or socks. They also didn't put money on her account so she couldn't order her commissary. Her lawyer had to do that. Her lawyer actually said that they were going to say that the pot on the plane wasn't hers. That they had been illegally searched and that while they had stepped away from the plane, someone out of the blue actually stashed all of this pot on her plane! Can you believe this? I wasn't going to voice my opinion of her at first because I too became a little impressed with her background and lifestyle. Once I got to know her for the past 2-3 weeks, I realized what kind of manipulator she was and am completely appalled that her family could have raised such an ungrateful child. I am in NO way a saint and have paid my dues for my mishaps, but she honestly believes that she is so much better than anyone that was in that jail. When she came back from Federal Court the first time, she had freaked out because they refused to give her any type of bond. Poor thing had to be put in the pickle suit which is for poeple that are suicidal. She claimed that she was going on a hunger strike. Ha ha ha

And you wonder why America is on the path to bankruptcy. All I can say is buy gold; we are truly governed by complete idiots.
Yes, I know. "We" are the government. Well "We" are completely stupid in the way we use our legal resources. If I raped a woman, I would get bail. She has a plant and is being held without bail. I always love it when there is a news story about pot, because it brings out all of the old hippies and the hippy wannabes extoling the virtues of killing brain cells. Smoke all you want, dudes - I will enjoy the fact that as I grow older, I will have the pleasure of competing for jobs with you.

Keep drinking your beer and wondering why pot smokers tend to have higher IQs. I make more than three times the national average and continue to get advanced designations, so you better start busting your butt if you want to compete with this stoner.

Legalize! Don't they see this isn't going to stop unless they take over the market legally? These people would have nothing to do and regular hard-working citizens would be able to comfortably, responsibly, and safely use cannabis. The government is really loony when you think about how alcohol, cigarettes and pharmaceuticals are all deadly (and perfectly legal and socially acceptable).

It takes over 1 metric ton of cannabis, purified and injected, to kill someone.

Politics and prejudice are all this is...
