Jon Lovitz Sued By L.A.Dodgers for $95K: That's the Ticket (Plus Two More), Team Says Lovitz Never Paid For

LOS ANGELES (CBS) The Los Angeles Dodgers are suing actor Jon Lovitz for not paying for three premium seats he purchased for the current baseball season. The seats total $95,400, according to the Press-Telegram, citing papers filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The Dodgers filed a breach of contract suit against the popular "Saturday Night Live" alum, who popularized the character of Tommy Flanagan; the pathological liar, when caught telling a tall tale, would reply, "That's the ticket."

Now the Dodgers seem to be sending that message to Lovitz three times over.

According to the suit, Lovitz purchased three "Dugout Club" seats in March 2008 to cover the 2008-10 seasons, with 3 percent increases for the seats in years two and three. The team said they canceled Lovitz's seats in April because of non-payment for this year.

The Dodgers are also suing filmmaker Steve Marlton, the Press-Telegram says, for more than $300,000 in unpaid tickets.
