DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (CBS/AP) Fast food apparently wasn't fast enough for a customer at a Wendy's drive-thru window, who allegedly chased after an employee with a stun gun for getting her order wrong.

If that sounds a bit excessive, Daytona Beach police say 20-year-old Melane Asia Reid is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after she brandished a pink stun gun at a local restaurant Monday morning.

Jason Hill, the drive-thru employee who avoided being tased, told police he was working the window when two women became upset with their order, started an argument laced with profanities, and allegedly took a swing at him, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Police say Reid and another woman, 23-year-old Katrina Mari-Alyce Bryant, got out of the car and went inside; Reid allegedly chased Hill around the kitchen while Bryant cheered.

They left, however, when a manager threatened to call police, says WKMG.

But their day wasn't quite well-done.  After the incident, Bryant reportedly called the Wendy's general manager to complain about the service, and claimed the side order of assault she and her comrade served up was in self-defense.

Needless to say it didn't take long for officers to then track down the two dissatisfied customers. The officer who pulled them over said the pair made several spontaneous statements about the incident, according to WKMG.

Reid supposedly claimed that she didn't try to hit Hill and that she chased him while "zapping" her stun gun because she feared for her life (food poisoning?) and wanted to file a report about the incident.

Along with Reid being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, her alleged "running mate" Bryant is charged with being a principal to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Yeah, clearly they were law-abiding citizens who were victims of fraud. That Wendy's worker was probably ripping off millions of people taking their condiments and selling it on the black market for profit. He should be incarcerated and the girls ought to be given the key to the city for their selfless act of policing crime at the drive thru window.

Interesting a deadly weapon, but they use them on us without concern for deadly force.

Police are hypocrits and liars

And some of you are scared of illegals? I doubt these two will ever be "rehabilitated". Remember their faces. They are dangerous.

Just how fast can your typical Wendy's connoisseur run? LOL - I'll bet Jason was just leisurely jogging around the store waiting for her to keel over from a heart attack. Well at least prison food should be a step up.
