Chelsea Handler Addresses Sex Tape on Chelsea Lately (E! Online)

(CBS) Chelsea Handler is at the top of her game. She is a best-selling author, actress, stand-up comedian, and she is currently the only female late-night television talk-show host (that we can think of). Recently, RadarOnline.com uncovered another one of Handler's accomplishments: a starring role in a sex tape.

RadarOnline.com reports that the tape was made over a decade ago when the young comedienne was starting out in Los Angeles. Handler apparently made the tape, which reportedly features a male partner with a British accent, to use as a demo to be distributed to various talent agents and managers in an effort to book appearances.

The video reportedly starts out with Chelsea doing a stand-up comedy routine, then turns into Chelsea Gone Wild. After the "performance," the video cuts back to Handler doing the rest of her stand-up routine, says RadarOnline.com.

On Wednesday, Chelsea addressed the sex tape allegations on her show, "Chelsea Lately," admitting that, yes, there's a sex tape. She also gave a special shout-out to RadarOnline.com.

"I would like to say to RadarOnline.com, thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, and number two, it was made as a joke. I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club, because I'm a comedienne, and I've been showing it at birthday parties for (expletive) years!"

A celebrity sex tape report that isn't met with denials and legal wrangling, but instead with a good-humored kiss off? What is this world coming to?

by RockstarAngie May 6, 2010 3:57 PM EDT: chelsea is the best! if you actually mocked her for releasing a sex tape then you don't know the whole story. she made this as a comedy...you haters out there know what that is right?? it's a freakin joke people! she said she's been showing it at her own birthday party for years---and it was AS A JOKE! for those of you who haven't seen her show (i'm guessing anyone who wrote something negative on this blog would fall into this category), you should really try to see it. it is hilarious. too bad many of you judged her without knowing all the facts. she's an awesome person!; Reply to this comment

If she was handing then out how much of a secret could this have been in the Entertainment business.
As for raderonline.com and the other dirt bag sites like this the entertainers need to pool their bucks and start their oen gossip operation. But a video crew on the owners and their familys of these sites 24/7. Can't wait to see their reaction when one of them winds up on youtube farting or seeing the wife coming out of a motel.
