Jaimee Grubbs Handcuffed: Tiger Woods' Alleged Mistress Arrested

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (CBS/AP) Tiger Woods just can't seem to get a break. As he fights off divorce rumors, and shakes off a mediocre showing at the Masters, one of his many alleged mistresses, Jaimee Grubbs, is back in the news - and this time she's handcuffed.

Grubbs was taken into custody about 5 p.m. Wednesday in West Hollywood after a random license plate check of her 2004 Ford Mustang showed she had three outstanding warrants for driving on a suspended license.

The Los Angeles cocktail waitress previously told Us Weekly she had a 31-month affair with Woods and had the text messages and a voice mail to prove it. The Woods scandal erupted following a Thanksgiving weekend car crash and allegations that he had trysts with multiple women.

Grubbs was released early Thursday morning after posting about $30,000 bail and a hearing is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the Beverly Hills courthouse.

Tiger Woods is greeted with laud and honor while the woman
he took advantage of is arrested. Media knows full well Woods lied when he said there was absolutely no violence in our home. Where are our values? Tiger Woods has made obscene profits.
Nike should hide their head in shame for not paying people who makes products a living wage and enticing youth to buy over-priced items. Our society is to blame for allowing
these injustices to continue.

by mgunn89512 April 16, 2010 8:21 PM EDT: I agree with you and many others: he lied, she should dump him, etc. etc. But there is no evidence of physical violence except of her beating him. If this is true, she should be punished and go to jail. She has every reason to be mad but no one should get physically violent. Can you imagine if she cheated and he punched her and ripped her lip? I don't think this physical abuse should be ignored but just about everybody has ignored the assault on him and the property destruction she committed.

by justathoughtwith2cents April 15, 2010 9:58 PM EDT: I agree that coming in 4th at the Masters is far from mediocre. As I told my wife when Tiger seemed depressed at this accomplishment, 4th is outstanding. It is a shame that Tiger himself could not convey this to the millions of viewers that returned to watch. Instead of dropping the "f" bomb, taking the Lord's name in vain when making a shot that was not up to his expectations and getting bent out of shape because he didn't win, Maybe just maybe he could send the message to the MILLIONS of viewers that include children that adore him that you play the game the best you can and congratulate the player that did win. As for this woman that got arrested. I doubt she called the media to let themknow she was arrested. When you are someone of Tiger's stature (maybe not morally) you have to deal with the responsibility of your actions and that will include every little blip on the media radar. I think after a dozen or so affairs it's safe to say it is not just these HOs to blaim.; Reply to this comment
