GREELEY, Colo. (CBS/AP) It's been nine days since 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson was last seen walking to a birthday party in Greeley.

Today, the search intensified as community volunteers joined the massive search effort alongside the FBI and the Greeley Police Department. The FBI and police have already knocked on a thousand doors and have followed up on hundreds of leads.

The latest push can be attributed to a woman named Michelle Thompson who started the Facebook page, "Prayers for Kayleah Wilson's Safe Return."

Through the Facebook page, Thompson is hoping to give the community a chance to connect with the search, as well as offer prayers and support to Kayleah Wilson and her family, according to The Greeley Tribune. Thompson also used the site to organize the community search that began this morning in Riverside Park.

Although Thompson does not know Kayleah, her daughter Jessica and Kayleah are good friends and attend church services together at the Abundant Life Fellowship, says The Greeley Tribune.

According to the Tribune, today's search turned up no sign of the missing 12-year-old, but police have received over 300 leads in the case.

On Monday, the FBI announced that a reward of up to  $10,000 will be given in exchange for any  information regarding the whereabouts of Kayleah Wilson.

Anyone with information about this girl's whereabouts is asked to please call the Greeley Police Department at (970) 350-9600.

At first I had read that she had a 15 year old boyfriend and was disturbed by that. Now I too read she recently broke up with a 17 year old. I am starting to think that we are seeing a lack of parental intervention in this girl's life. I am not saying it's her parent's fault but she is a 12 girl, her mom just lets her walk alone to a party that is approx. 2 miles away, she wasn't walking thru a residential neighborhood, it seems like she went near a mall and a major highway. Then the mother doesn't check or have her call to let her know she made it to the party ok because mom didn't start calling around until 9 pm that night and her daughter left at 3:40 that afternoon. She was first supposed to meet and pick up a friend on the way, did that friend or her family wonder why Kayleah never came? What about the party? Did they find it odd that she didn't show up? How long was this party that her mom didn't start looking for her til 9 pm?? I think there is more to this than what we know. Also, no 12 year old girl needs to have a boyfriend let alone a 15 yr old or 17 year old. That is just disgusting. What else is a 15+ aged boy thinking about other than one thing?

I can't help wondering what a 12 year old is doing with a 17 year old boyfriend. That's just WRONG.

Where did you pull the 17 year old boyfriend from? You might want to re-read the story... she was walking to a birthday party.
